Come here all the time but never again. Lady who runs the shop is rude. I always have been a big fan of supporting local businesses and I think the matcha here is really good, but after the last time I was here, I will never ever buy from here again. I forgot my wallet this time and tried to use Apple Pay and it wouldn’t work this time. I apologized, as I’m not sure what was going on with my card. I was able to use my card through Apple Pay at pyscho sisters down the street with no trouble at all after leaving her shop, so idk what was happening with my card or if it was on her machines end. Anyways, she was incredibly rude and made a nasty statement about how it was an inconvenience on her end since she already made the drink, when really there was nothing I could have done. If it’s such an issue, why not have people pay before you make the drink like most other coffee shops? Anyways, best of luck, as I will never come here again. Will be telling my friends that I’ve recommended this place for matcha about this interaction so I guess we’ll have to find another good place for matcha in Atlanta, since this place isn’t worth it anymore. I genuinely am very distraught as I’ve loved this place and have been coming here for around 3 years now. I don’t typically like to leave negative reviews unless I’ve had a really bad experience with a place, but it was incredibly unprofessional the way she spoke to me. Kindness and empathy goes a long way. Never had an issue at Aurora before.
