I’ve been to plenty of Waffle Houses, but this experience was beyond disappointing. Our waitress, Kayla, was fantastic—super attentive, kind, and on top of everything. But the way one of the cooks, Shannon, spoke to her was downright unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch.
One example would be is that she called out an order for a chicken breast, but Shannon was too busy barking orders at her to even listen. When she had to repeat herself, his response was a nasty “Learn how to call things out.” Then he outright admitted, “I never treat anyone else like this that works third shift, but I am tonight.” It was painfully obvious why—Kayla is small, petite, and a woman, and he took advantage of that to be a bully.
Kayla handled it with grace, but no employee should have to put up with that, especially in front of customers. It ruined the entire meal. Management needs to step in because no one wants to eat while watching a coworker be mistreated. Won’t be back to this location if that’s how they let their staff act.

this location blows. nowhere on their site does it say they’re “take out only” at certain hours. And don’t even think about trying to place a “walk up” to go order. You’ll get ignored at the “order here” window, forcing you to go back to your car, order to go from the website, and wait another 25 minutes.

I I always enjoy visiting Waffle House for the warm greetings upon entering, the familiar menu, and the comfortable diner-style atmosphere. My meal was delicious, with everything prepared just the way I like it. I especially appreciate Waffle House’s grits—they have the perfect consistency. I’ve also noticed an improvement in the bacon on my recent visits, which has been a pleasant surprise!
One small suggestion for an even better experience would be to implement a more consistent floor-cleaning routine. Keeping the dining area tidy would enhance the welcoming environment that makes Waffle House such a great place to dine. Looking forward to my next visit!
The staff was great. My server was so sweet. I think her name was Lizzy but the whole crew was great. My food came fast and hot. I had a cheesesteak hash brown bowl with scrambled eggs.
