Maybe it's just me but it has nothing to do with bbq. Again maybe it's just something i don't know about. It's just grilled chicken covered with sweet teriyaki sauce and rice. I went on google and found this place thinking I was getting some bbq and that is not the case. The chicken was ok though.

This place was so yummy! We came here last minute for a friend's birthday lunch and we were glad they did. Come hungry! You get a lot of food for a little money and the tea is way sweeter than McDonald's. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all delicious

I definitely try to go to this place anytime i'm in the area. It is hands down the most authentic Hawaiian BBQ experience you can get anywhere around here.From the menu items like Loco Moco, to the Hawaiian Sun fruit juices, this place is pretty authentic to what you could get in Hawaii.What surprises me is that almost every time I've been there, there aren't that many people. It's a bit of a hidden gem.If you're looking for southern barbecue, you're in the wrong place. But highly recommend this restaurant.

I went here with some friends and immediately eyed the Kalua Pork. It’s one of my favorite dishes when i visit the islands and it’s nearly impossible to find good Hawaiian bbq anywhere else let alone atlanta. My friends all tried different plates and were pretty meh about it but the Kalua is where this place shines. When I say it is the closest thing to the real stuff I mean it. If you’re not here for the Kalua Pork you’re doing it wrong.

UM?! WHY did I not go here sooner?! I'll go ahead and apologize for the lack of photos. I ATE FIRST, and the phone did NOT this time.This place is tucked away, and if you didn't know, you'd miss it. This place truly feels like a lil place on the beautiful islands of Hawaii.This is not a fancy place at all and the prices are beyond fair especially for the big portions!!My favorite item was the Spam Musubi... truly, I'm drooling now.The service was amazing, a very sweet guy works the counter and he is so friendly. Please be extra kind to him, we had a great conversation with him!I cannot believe I've lived here my whole life and I have just gone to this hidden gem!!

I REALLY loved this! I've been wanting to try Spam for a while and figured musubi would be the way to go and I was not wrong!! It was delicious! I also got the mini plate of Loco Moco and the amazing flavors just kept coming! The gravy with the hamburger and cabbage! And I have a tough time with macaroni salad but I would absolutely come back for more! Also just a lovely, friendly staff and I couldn't be more satisfied!!Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids but one of their customers had a lovely little boy who they were extremely kind to!

I've heard great things about Waikikie BBQ for a long time. Some of my family has gone there in the past. From the outside, it doesn't look like much and the interior is kind of dated. However, the food and service make up for that a thousand times! I had the Kalua Pork, which comes with two scoops of white rice and a macaroni salad. The Kalua Pork was incredibly impressive and came out tasting fresh. I wasn't impressed by the macaroni salad or rice, but they were both still very good. This place is going into my regular rotation for sure.Parking: The parking is very limited up front.
