Food was not good. I got the rib tips and turkey wings. Both were with Mac and cheese and collards. Meals come with cornbread. The Mac and cheese was tasteless. The turkey was chewy and tasted gamey. The cornbread was hard and dry. I would not recommend. Total waste of money as I ended up giving the food to my dog in lieu of throwing all of it in the trash.

Amazing food. Big portions and extremely flavorful. Best collard greens I've ever had! Rib tips, Mac n chz amd sweet potatoes are out of thos world! And dont forget their delicious sweet tea! Can't wait to go back! Worth the wait!!

This was my first time eating at this place and I have to say, I'm very disappointed. I couldn't even eat the food, from the cornbread being too hard to the mooshy rice and gravy and the canned tasting collard greens. I'm sorry but, this food was horrible.,

I must say, we were pleasantly surprised with this place. We always go the the liquor store across the street and today my fiance was looking for something different to eat and remembered this place on Cleveland avenue. So happy he went and gave them a try. The food was fresh hot and flavorful. They did not disappoint!

They are serving kids portions now! If you question it they tell you the owner said just a half of scoop. Owner was in the back and would not come out to talk to his customers. 3 people walked out! Not the same Walter’s!!

So Today was my second time going to this spot today . Both times I order a veggie plate . For food was good but could be better.I didn’t cook so close to home cooking with me doing it lol. My return isn’t just about the food the service and old feeling of southern hospitality . I’m from Atlanta not to many spots like this still around so I try to support black own businesses in my City . Funny how you get in line and people remind you of your upbringing if your from a large family standing in waiting for them to ask you what you having. . Yes yes ma’am, yes sir I will like etc.. then you get ya food Scared to complain being thankful for them who Prepared to serve you. Thanks

Food was okay, but unfortunately the service at the front counter was very rude and unprofessional. It made the overall experience unpleasant, so I probably wouldn’t return.

This place stinks as soon as you walk in. The servers are rude. The Hispanic looking girl at the register let someone jump in front of me on purpose. The vegetables are old and the fried chicken was fried in old grease and was dry. This food is cheap for a reason.
