It was a Tuesday night, so maybe things were off. Food was EXCELLENT. They were out of the first 2 wines we ordered off the wine list. It was empty and the TV was playing kind of loud, so had a sports bar kind of feel. Just not the same as it was in times past. Again - the food was OUTSTANDING.
Menu is ala carte. With chicken you get biscuits only. What is this - Bojangles? Bartender had to dig up recipe for a mai tai throwing the first one out. Drinks were very weak. Reservations were silly. One couple there at 6:45. I think we can sit anywhere. Employees all on their phones. Typical of people under 35.

Man this place was awesome. Best fried chicken I've had period, also ordered the hangar steak, kinda unusual but delicious cut of meat- which paired great with perfectly cooked collard greens and potatoes. Definitely recommend the cheese grits and the biscuits they bring out before were phenomenal. Service was excellent, waitress was extremely attentive and honestly we'd come in 20 minutes before closing so I wouldn't have blamed any staff if they'd been a little bummed.
