Disappointed with the decline in quality and service.
Wayback Burger used to be one of the best Halal spots around, but sadly that’s no longer the case. On my recent visit, the soda machine was out of drinks, there was no table service, and they completely messed up our order ,asked for cheese in the sandwiches and got them without it. The previous staff was professional and attentive, but the new team seems disorganized and indifferent. Really unfortunate to see such a good place go downhill.

We ordered double cheeseburgers and were surprised at how thin the patties were! The menu didn’t mention that burgers didn’t come with fries, so we paid an extra $4.99 for a large side, which ended up being frozen fries, not fresh. Same with the hash browns—clearly store-bought! The bread was also disappointing and tasted processed. Overall, the quality didn’t match the price.

This is one of the best restaurants I ever went to. The food is fresh and the customer service is top notch. The food is so good I ate there three times this week. This place is a 10/10 and would recommend to eat out with family.

Still sitting in the dining area waiting on my order but this is my first time here. I came because the reviews said the customer service was good but…I’m not so sure. I initially tried to order on the kiosk but when it was time to pay, it said there was an error and I had to go to the register. When I got to the register, the guy standing there said I needed to wait for the woman to take my order. When she walked up, she said “yes?” No hello, nothing. I said I need to order. She said “what do you want?” Not the usual way to greet a customer in my opinion. The total ended up being a dollar extra than before and she couldn’t tell me why, that’s ok. I paid and got my receipt. The next person (now we know the kiosk isn’t working) came up and she greeted him properly. “Hello, how are you, what would you like”, which is why I’m writing the review. I don’t even know how the food tastes but I already don’t care for the service from my personal experience. My name is also spelled “Jasemin” on my receipt which has never happened.

Such a great burger not too greasy or salty just right. Pair with your favorite toppings. I got the single but suggest getting the double. The bun is very moist and delicious but too large for a single. Finally got to try them. Will be back. Great service smiling faces and hard working staff!
