I had such an amazing stay here! The location was excellent, my room was clean, and the hotel itself is super cute. The front desk staff were literally the best, especially Michael. Michael went above and beyond for me during my two day stay at The Sylvan. He was so helpful, super kind, and exemplified great service. The only issue I had here was valet. Majority of the valet staff were nice but a few of them were a bit rude. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here.

Love this place. But a 100$ per day incidental charge is crazy. Especially when you aren’t informed before hand. Pretty much you pay double at first
Spacious rooms and excellent service. Great rooftop bar great restaurant. And it's quiet even with the construction in the neighborhood. Always a good spot to stay.

Room was very small relative to the price. We found immediately that the room was not very clean for example used contact lenses were on the bedside nightstand also, trash was on the floor in the hallway.
Walkability: Close to shopping area and restaurants.
Food and drinks: Hotel food was just ok and very expensive.

The hotel itself is good, service is horrible starting from front desk to restaurant it’s getto, the receptionist was drunk he gave us twice wrong room keys which he already gave the 2 gust who ride in the elevator with us , how could not remember in minutes apart giving the same room for 2 gusts twice. When you call FD no one picks up the phone, we regret booking this hotel.

Location was great, and the staff so was professional and kind. I wanted to specifically shout out Michael, the manager! He made us feel right at home, and was hilarious. You have the right one manning the front desk to interact with guests. HE WAS EXCELLENT - thank you Michael!
Great experience. The location is perfect. Love the design and decor of the rooms. They were very clean and comfortable as well. Excellent customer service from the manager Michael and his team. Special shout out to the Valet attendant Malcolm. He is very kind, professional with excellent customer service. Highly recommend this hotel!!

I highly recommend you do NOT book an event at this hotel. The event staff and accounting department is like a revolving door. It took them 1 whole year to properly collect payment for an event we hosted at the hotel. The hotel may be lovely, and the outdoor bar is very enjoyable, but I will never book another event with this hotel again.
I was quite disappointed with the Kimpton Sylvan. I reserved a room with a King bed, and instead was given a room with two Queens and told, "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience of having two beds instead of one."
The hotel also seemed to be in the middle of a remodel - the carpet was torn in our room in several spots and the elevators were quite shoddy.
Wouldn't recommend.

Visited the Sylvan for a week for work. The staff made my stay unbelievable! Everyone seemed to dedicated to excellence and customer care. The nightly events kept ne bust during my stay. I took advantage of the bike service almost every day to cut uber costs. I would recommend The Slvan to ANYONE visiting ATL. TOP NOTCH!!!

Staff were great! Very respectful, playful, and inviting. They absolutely loved seeing our child and treated us very well. 5pm wine is always amazing 😉
Room was spacious, clean, relaxing, and exactly what I needed it to be. I’m here for business so the hotel needs to be relaxing. This hotel made the list to visit again.
PS I definitely ate the gourmet beef jerky in the room. Great selection of snacks!
