The ribs were very tender and fell off the bone easily. Do pair it with their homemade mustard sauce. The cornbread was tasty too!

Love this community restaurant. They do BBQ really well and have excellent sides & drink options. The dine-in ambience is clean, open, and spacious. We love the outdoor area in the summer. Wood's Chapel is also a true neighborhood restaurant - they've always shown consistent support for local elementary & middle schools with dine-outs, sponsorships, and event hosting. Highly recommend a visit.
Kid-friendliness: Wood's Chapel has space (both indoor and outdoor) for families to spread out and find their own area. They were an excellent option for my family when we had an energetic toddler.

The quality of the food is a C- at best. However, what really stands out is how poor the customer experience is, especially for a non-fast food establishment. When you walk in, even though it's not busy, the staff walks by without even acknowledging you. It was our first time, and we were clearly unfamiliar with the setup. After figuring it out on our own, we went to the cashier, who looked absolutely miserable, as if it was a burden to even be there. To top it off, we were charged for fountain water. This was our first visit, and it will definitely be our last. The management seriously needs to address these unprofessional behaviors. Without good service, it doesn’t matter how good or cheap the food is – and, frankly, it's neither. In addition, you should not automatically charge your customers for tips, you need to earn it and this visit was definitely not earned!

Service here has gone down in quality. Constant wrong orders and little staff help. Time for another bbq place.

some friends and i decided we were in the mood for BBQ and one said they had been there before but not eaten so we tried it out. the food was pretty good i had the brisket (chopped) mac&cheese with the fries. the mac was creamy a little dry but solid, the fries were small pieces with a good season salt on them and the brisket was smokey not my favorite smokey taste but still pretty good. also got the texas toast it needed a little butter a little too dry for my taste but overall it was pretty good. and the pickled red onions were very good.

You can never go wrong with a pulled pork bbq sandwich, was very delicious! The pork beans are also a go to, the fries were a little plain, other than that, everything was perfect. Nice, calm area to enjoy your meal!

3 times now... I have ordered sides and a pulled pork sandwich. NOTHING COMPLEX, I'm talking about precooked sides that have to be slapped into a cup, and a pulled pork sandwich that just has to be thrown together... and it has taken OVER 30 minutes to get my food each time. Never more than a few customers in the store (Many who have come in and ordered after me, who somehow get their food fairly quicky)... And that is only after I get up and ask if my food is ready. I get the same thing every time... "Let me check", goes to the kitchen and comes back a second later and asks for my receipt, food is out in less than 2 minutes. How is is that every single time I come here, which is NOT often, I always end up being forgotten about??? Out of the 4 or more employees I saw walking around, including the one behind the counter that took my order, not one person stopped the 30+ mins I was sitting waiting to ask if they could help me. Now I get WCB is slow on a normal day... I've dined in before and it took a while to get the food. But I would still be sitting there right now if I hadn't gotten up to ask about my to go order. Maybe I'm just unlucky and always get the new employee who can somehow take my money, ask for a tip, and then still forget to send my order to the kitchen.

Food was so nasty. Over seasoned wings, tough and chewy ribs, bland out-of-the box macaroni and cheese, and dirty, overcooked greens. Definitely do not come here if you know what good barbecue tastes like.

Ribs were good, pulled pork was lackluster. Tried two of the sauces (regular BBQ and their mustard based sauce) we're on the upper end of too sweet for me. Enjoyed the creamed corn. Nice atmosphere. Not Atlanta's best but could do worse.

No vegan options. I get that it's bbq but they could try a little. Mushrooms, eggplant, tofu, seitán... All of these things can be smoked and/or grilled.
Vegetarian options: There are none.

As soon as you walk in, you see pro war signs and anti-family signs all over the windows. The food was fine. Nothing special. generic sauces with smoked meat. The greens are awful if you're used to true Southern greens. Taste like swamp water.
