I photographed a relaxed wedding rehearsal dinner here a few weeks back, so this is a review of The Biergarten event area - though the star ratings are the same for Wrecking Bar as a whole!
This is a fantastic, casual space that's suitable for a myriad of events, with standing room for up to 100. Space for a band too on the stage! Food is obviously great, see the pics, with a variety of options to suit any palette. Beers are top notch, as you'd expect, and the staff are lovely. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Cozy spot for elevated pub food that uses lots of locally sourced ingredients. They have a good number of pub standards (like burgers) but also keep the menu interesting with seasonally changing starters and entrees. Service is attentive but laid back. I love the cave-like feel (but if you want to sit outside they do have that option!).

Even with two large parties and a Dungeons-and-Dragons themed pub crawl crowding the place to the rafters, the staff handled some fairly unruly characters with patience and professionalism! Cool place. Good food. Even better people. Eat and drink here!

The Wrecking Bar is low key one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. Beyond the beer always being incredible, the food never misses. If you are vegetarian, you will be impressed by the options that aren't just a bowl of salad. Go on the 5th of any month for a special tapping of their limited Mexican BA Stout.
