Wylie & Rum Island Bar and Grill

Had a great experience at Wylie & Rum! The food was delicious — the jerk chicken wings and Rasta pasta were full of flavor, and the empanadas made a perfect starter. The mocktails were tasty and refreshing. The atmosphere was lively with upbeat music, and our waitress was fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Very good experience. Wonderful neighborhood feel to the restaurant. Greeted warmly immediately upon arrival and seated. Food menu selection and our server, Amy, was very helpful. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal at food value.

Food was delicious, as were the drinks. Service from Maya was top notch. Really enjoyed eating here and will be back.

The restaurant accommodated our party of 9 to celebrate my birthday. The waitress was very nice and professional. All our orders were correct and everyone was happy with there meal. I would recommend this restaurnat

Hubby & I went about 11:30am. The food was hot & delicious! Customer service was on point. Friendly staff! We will definitely return to try other dishes.

The food is fire The drinks are fire and the service is great. I had really no complaints I would definitely go back there again. And that sauce that comes with a jerk chicken is so good definitely give it a try.

I was recommended the jerk chicken platter. It come with 3 WHOLE WINGS. I asked for 4 wings because I’m thinking it’s regulars wings like a Jamaican restaurant. I was charged $5 for one extra whole wing! The original meal is 18 dollars? That didn’t make sense. Pour waiter either didn’t like us or was profiling. We didn’t feel welcomed while there. My spouse got the jerk sandwich, the bread was burnt. So he didn’t even eat it, we didn’t bother telling our waiter. She didn’t seem to even care at all. The jerk Chicken didn’t have seasoning beyond the skin. I was very disappointed because we drive pass this place daily thinking it was a good day to try it. We were better off going to Mangos. The rice was seasoned pretty good. We won’t be back here. It’s 4/10 for us

I am grateful to have found this place. The food is full of flavor, parking is free, the drinks are good, and the ambiance is unmatched. I got the island burger, jerk burrito, shrimp fritters, and ground beef empanadas. Those empanadas??? Perfect. Everything was cooked well and the flavor profiles matched. 10/10 recommend

Terri was awesome and the food is great!

Tonight was my 1st time here, the service was amazing, I did have a small hickup with my food but Terri and the onsite managers took great care of things immediately and ensured I had a great experience! I recommend trying the mocktails and the vegan jackfruit empanadas!!! Chefs kiss! I will definitely be back!!!

Service was absolutely fantastic! I had the Island Burger with fried plantains, and it was cooked to perfection. For appetizers, I tried the shrimp fritters, and they were delicious—crispy on the outside and full of flavor.

They also have great drink specials every day of the week. I went with the rum punch, which was so refreshing, and on Wednesdays it’s only $7.95—can’t beat that!

Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, drinks, and top-notch service!
