Wanted some real home cooking, so we located this place. We actually drove by it and had to turn around. It's located next to a convenient store, just these two businesses so parking is at the door very convenient. Man! So many choices of meat, and vegetables. You get to fix your own plate. Yes, yes, yes... my soul was dancing on the table tops. Who knew but my dear coworker, keeping this neighborhood secret gemstone of an eatery under wraps! The owner/chef was tremendously heart-warming in service. And we left smiling with joyful tummies. We tried everything on offer. Thank you for sharing the love of food-- especially the yams with a nice dash of cinnamon, pork chops seasoned perfectly, mac&cheese that oozed goodness, stewed chicken & giblets, tender beef...

We had the intention of getting food and leaving. When we walked in, it was a whole vibe. The staff was so nice. We ended up sitting at the bar and had cocktails. Talked with the staff and owner. The food was absolutely delicious. Always looking for good food when we go out of town. This restaurant hits. Highly recommend!
