I love coming here when visiting. It is a must. The food is delicious and the family atmosphere is so welcoming. A must stop always. The fried chicken and vegetables are my favorite. I just wish I was there on a Thursday for their cornbread dressing. Can’t wait to go back.

This is the second year in a row they have not passed their health inspection. Last year it was a 70 and this year a 68. That means you haven’t fixed or tried to do a thing to change! The reports are indicating poor practices and conditions. A real shame.

Down home Southern soul food downtown. My wife and I met some old friends for lunch and we were not disappointed. The service was perfect. The dining area was spacious, tasteful, and clean. And the food was just like Mama used to make. I'm sure we'll be back!

Normally, the food is great, but today, it was a little off. Some of the sides were too salty and not hot enough, and some were overcooked. However, the service and the sweet tea were awesome. I got a sweet tea to go .
