“I have never been a waffle person, but Cafe on 8th has created such a delicious and savory way to enjoy waffles. I had the low country waffle which has the essence of a delicious bowl of Shrimp and Grits. The waffle texture of course is not grits, but held its own with the crunchy corners and pillowy centers that sopped up all that rich flavor. I'm excited to try the other dishes soon.”

“We went there on 10-19-2024 to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were able to reserve our favorite booth. Which helped make the evening even more special. There was a great jazz band playing. But what truly made it a night to remember was our waiter, Mason. He was so knowledgeable about the food and drinks and made us laugh so much, while remaining totally professional. He is a wonderful asset to Oliviana. As always, we will be back.”

“This place has been opened for a while and I finally decided to stop by and try them. I went last night and got their blonde and white chocolate mocha. As a first time visitor, the waiter was extremely patient and even offered suggestions. He was great. It looked extremely clean inside and not overly crowded. The drinks were amazing. The white chocolate mocha actually tasted like chocolate. I enjoyed it so much that I went back today. Listen, their mango lemonade is to die for. Half my drink was gone before I even made it back home. This is definitely one of my new favorite coffee/drink spots!”

“I had the pleasure of having coffee in this locally owned coffee shop with a friend. This place came highly recommended when I asked around! The atmosphere is welcoming to all and peaceful inside and outside. you have the option of sitting inside or outside, which is great on a beautiful day. The coffee is fresh and as bold or as soft (many options of flavors additives) as you like. They have a multitude of ways to have your coffee and the Baristas are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I highly recommend this local spot conveniently located on the corner of Wilson and Central close to downtown Augusta. Thank you so much Buona Caffe for your addition to our community ❤️”

“All of our food was delicious. We had the calamari appetizer that was cooked exactly how we like it, nice and crispy. My halibut was delicious and the creamed jalapeño corn was fantastic. It was so good I wish there was more corn. My daughter ordered the rib eye, and it's was very fatty but tasted good. I felt they could have trimmed it better before cooking. The garnishes on the side were delicious. For dessert, we shared the chocolate croissant bread pudding. It was delicious. I usually find most restaurant food to be too salty, but all the food here was seasoned perfectly.
I expected this restaurant to be more formal with tablecloths, but it's casual with the servers wearing jeans and plaid shirts.”

Drinks: their special for the night was good, strawberry daiquiri, and not the typical kind. My dessert chocolate martini needs improvement. When I make mine I use Godiva chocolate liqueur.”

“Yes after 40+ years we could ALL use a make over...but its also part of the unique atmosphere that Villa Europa. It's old enough to have 1000s of memories. I have eaten there numerous times over my 55+yrs ? I have never been disappointed in the food nor the service. Don't take this wrong my waitress was very good, I miss the ladies with German/Italian heritage and speech. Thank you VE for keeping up the great reputation built by those before you, It's in good hands.”

“I've been to the other store in Grovetown and am now to the Augusta store today. Across the board, it has been a fantastic experience. The service was so friendly and patient. This is still by far my favorite poke shop in terms of quality, service, and variety. I will say that the white rice was clumpy and maybe dry or overcooked. Things like this happen from time to time at any restaurant. Thankfully, I called in and spoke with the manager, who was very kind and patient as well. I highly recommend Hello Poke, which hands down has the best poke and spring rolls.

Parking: Lots of handicapped and open spots super close to the store front.”

“Great place for excellent food. We loved the Filet and Duck Breast. The Crystal Melon drink is a perfect summer drink. The Vidalia Onion dip is a solid sweet and savory starter. Also, the staff are very dog friendly and brought out a water bowl for our dogs as we sat down.”

I don't consume alcohol, but I can't fail to mention they have a nice variety of adult drinks, too. All I can say is ENJOY!”

“My wife and I stopped by to get breakfast in between doctors appointments and though the restaurant was extremely busy we were lucky enough to get a CLEAN booth right away!! The manager and his cook were both on the grill knocking orders out super fast with the waitresses and waiter busting there buts taking care of the customers not missing a beat!! We received excellent service-super delicious food and were out of there in less than 30 minutes!!! The managers name was Steve and he and his entire crew were absolutely amazing!! Thank you Waffle House for having such a great team at this location!!”

“I ordered the biscuits and gravy (actually it was a single biscuit) and the advertised strawberry waffle with whipped cream on top. The best part of the meal was the biscuit and gravy. It was better than what I’ve had at most restaurants, but the biscuits and gravy at Pilot Flying J is still significantly better. For the strawberry waffle, I thought it was a little too mushy (I prefer a more spongy waffle). And the whipped cream wasn’t really cream, but rather a whipped topping that melts into a slightly milky but almost translucent liquid. The truth is, it wasn’t a bad meal. I’ve had much worse. But I’ve also had much better. I had expected top quality food when I walked in, and I was a little disappointed.The service and atmosphere was exactly what I had expected. Based on the service and atmosphere I would return to this Waffle House. But I would perhaps explore something else on the menu.”

“What a great find! Came through Augusta on a day trip, and happened across Farmhaus. Good food that is locally sourced, and great service. The young lady who took our order was great- she seemed happy to be there and was very helpful with the menu. The food was tasty and prompt. The beer selection looked awesome, only wish I could’ve enjoyed one with the burger, but I had a long drive ahead. If your considering trying Farmhaus, go! “I visited my FAVORITE Jersey Mike's today. My favorite smiley guy Haden, suggested I try their New Classic Pastrami sub. (which I did).
It was simply delicious, it was neatly prepared and omg...it had a generous portion of meat and fixins, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you again, smiling guy for the recommendation. I'll admit, I always feel good about spending my money at this establishment.... it doesn't come with a negative ATTITUDE like other restaurants in the area. !!

I searched and came across the Chicken Salad Chick… so I decided to give it a try and I’m sure glad I did!!! The food is fresh and the flavors are delicious! EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be. I got a scoop of the Basil Chicken Salad and a scoop of the grape pecan cranberry chicken salad…. The flavors are addictive…. And the side salad with spinach and bacon is crisp and fresh… perfect combo… AND the beautiful ladies at the counter were so courteous and kind they took the time to explain the menu …Stay blessed and keep smiling! “Nothing extraordinary. First time eating here. The food was ok. Basically, it's the same setup as a Subway or Jersey Mike's for Mexican food. The server was impatient to answer questions even though there was no line. Guacamole tasted fresh. Containers were too small for a taco salad, so when I got home, there was a large amount stuck to lid that I had to scrape off.”

The service and atmosphere were outstanding. Portions are large so come hungry.... Husband's hamburger was raw and French fries were cold. My shrimp was extremely over cooked and was tough. She replaced the hamburger ( iron was worse than the first and they changed me for the fries!!! Bill came to a little over $50.. to think we could have gone to the best restaurants!!

I'm from the south so when you somewhere you expect the cheese grits to be blah... BUT NO.. Their cheese grits had so much flavor they were amazing.
