“Sunrise Grill is an establishment who has a fulfilling, proven recipe to satisfy your appetite and evoke a little bit of nostalgia.
I popped in on a Satuday morning about 9:45 and they had quite a full dining room and waiting area. Because I was alone, I was able to be seated at the counter immediately. I ordered hot tea and the #7 eggs over medium with grits; they were cooked quickly and perfectly. My waitress was very friendly and very busy--she did an excellent job. Prices are more than reasonable--I saw all stages of life there: kids with parents all the way up to the elderly.
If you are looking for a great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot friendly to families and affordable for your budget, you should give them some business.“

“My first time going, and the customer service was amazing. The atmosphere was spot on. I got the French toast with cheese grits. I'm from the south so when you somewhere you expect the cheese grits to be blah... BUT NO.. Their cheese grits had so much flavor they were amazing. And the French toast was soft and moist even after the butter has been sitting on it for a second. 10/10 highly recommend. Best breakfast ever😋🥰🩷🫶🏾“

About 2 months ago I decided to try something different and ended up at this Waffle House and was blessed to meet Ms. Keri. I have been pulling up almost every morning Mon-Fri. She even remembers what I order now. Her customer service as well as the cook that is usually there with her is superb! My new favorite location.“

“I ordered the biscuits and gravy (actually it was a single biscuit) and the advertised strawberry waffle with whipped cream on top. The best part of the meal was the biscuit and gravy. It was better than what I’ve had at most restaurants, but the biscuits and gravy at Pilot Flying J is still significantly better. For the strawberry waffle, I thought it was a little too mushy (I prefer a more spongy waffle). And the whipped cream wasn’t really cream, but rather a whipped topping that melts into a slightly milky but almost translucent liquid. The truth is, it wasn’t a bad meal. I’ve had much worse. But I’ve also had much better. I had expected top quality food when I walked in, and I was a little disappointed.The service and atmosphere was exactly what I had expected. Based on the service and atmosphere I would return to this Waffle House. But I would perhaps explore something else on the menu.“

“I came into this restaurant after sitting in the parking lot for hours contemplating on even going in because I did not even have the money to eat. And I had not eaten in 3 days. I took off every piece of the jewelry that I had and the only pair of earrings that I had left and that bit the bullet and and went inside. And I asked a lady if she would please spare a meal for me and that I would give her my wedding bands and a pair of earbuds for a meal. At first she told me no because that she could get fired for that. I started to leave. But I guess she seen the tears and desperation on my face, as she sat me down and began to cook me a hamburger. She won't ever know how much that meant to me. Wherever you are lady and whatever you're doing I pray that God looks out for you and gives you every good thing in life. Thank you so much for that day“
