“Located near the heart of downtown Augusta, Humanitree House serves as both a venue for art as well as a place to eat and socialize. The menu specializes in vegan dishes, with vegan takes on familiar fares such as cheeseburgers, as well as unique dishes and their own beverages and smoothies. The ingredients they use are fresh and the service was fast and friendly. The vibes of the restaurant are unique and reflect the heart of downtown Augusta; creative, bold, and expressive. As for the menu, I tried the vegan bacon cheeseburger, the lentil and kale soup, as well as a lemonade with ginger and cayenne. The vegan burger was good, made fresh and in comparison to a regular cheese burger, you feel guilt free and not as bloated after consumption. Only gripe for the burger was the firmness of the vegan patty itself. The patty was very mushy and fell apart almost immediately, definitely needed a longer time to be cooked and seared on the outside. Not sure whether this was the norm or a one time occurrence, but it did affect the overall taste of the burger. The lentil and kale soup was very good. The broth was rich in flavor and not one ingredient was overbearing. The lemonade was alright, definitely a unique drink and the cayenne added an unexpected offset to the flavor, would not recommend to those sensitive to heat. Overall was a pleasant spot to visit.Vegetarian options: It’s a vegan restaurantParking: Limited parking near the restaurant“

“When you step into this restaurant, you are transported into a place that feels so ethereal. I mean, they have smoothies, hot and cold food, desserts, salads, herbal supplements, coconut water, body wash, almost everything!I ordered a tempeh broccoli stir-fry and it was PHENOMENAL! Let me just say, the way it was presented and the different flavor combinations were absolutely out of this world. Five stars from me and I'm pretty picky!!I also ordered a #19 smoothie. Also, PHENOMENAL!! I know, your probably thinking, "how can this be?". I thought the same thing, too! There was a perfect combination of almonds and dates, you really can feel the love!I would recommend this establishment to everyone I know who is interested in bettering their health and still like to eat out. You cannot go wrong here. Thank you guys so much for the amazing food medicine I received today. My gut feels amazing after devouring this delicious food.Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian and vegan options!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available!!“
