The young lady who took our order was great- she seemed happy to be there and was very helpful with the menu. The food was tasty and prompt. The beer selection looked awesome, only wish I could’ve enjoyed one with the burger, but I had a long drive ahead. If your considering trying Farmhaus, go! I’ve visited Savannah River Brewing Company countless times, but never ordered food until now, and WOW, have I been missing out! I LOVE that Savannah River Kitchen offers a curated menu with recommended beer pairings. Such a smart partnership!

The Korean chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced and an explosion of flavor! My friend’s smashburger with bacon jam? That FIRST BITE?! Oh. My. GOD. Phenomenal!

I also love the family-friendly and dog-friendly atmosphere. In my experience, the best breweries across different cities and states embrace that environment! They host several events throughout the week, all advertised in advance, so naturally, it can get crowded. Complaining about crowds or dogs at an openly pet-friendly brewery seems a bit silly when that information is readily available beforehand.

And to anyone bothered by bartenders explaining the beers, they’re describing the flavor profiles and tasting notes of beers they BREW themselves! That’s part of the craft brewery experience, and something I’ve encountered at excellent breweries all over the country. It’s hospitality, not an insult to your beer knowledge!

“Ive had a lot of Chinese food in NY and this is absolutely up there. I went in and placed an order and did have to wait behind a few people around 20-30 mins but it was worth the wait. The fried rice was delicious without being overly oily, the black pepper chicken was seasoned very well with actual chinese spices and the dumplings with the sauce which im pretty sure had chilli crisp were spectacular. Dont be put off by the exterior this was very good.“
