Owner is the sweetest man. His doors weren't open but he still invited me in and gave me great service. Definitely a family Friel establishment... one where you make long term ties. Order your food !
Me and my colleague ordered the same thing but his dinner came with 2 slices of white bread while mine came with a side of corn bread (perhaps because I got collard greens and potato salad, while my colleague got baked beans and rice).Food was delicious. Good smoke ring around the meat and good smoke flavor. Nothing complex as the oak wood is used for smoking. My husband and I each ordered the rib dinner with 2 sides, I had the cole slaw and potato salad, he had macaroni and cheese and collards. ALL was outstanding! The ribs were perfectly cooked and juicy, you honestly don't need the barbecue sauce especially if you're a rib lover.Will definitely recommend and most certainly will come back!!Keep doing what you are doing sir!
