I usually get the pulled pork, hash and rice with Mac and cheese. It NEVER fails that it is better each time. As a matter of fact, I am on my way now.“

“I just left your barbecue joint and I just want to let y’all know that this is probably some of the best barbecue I’ve had in a really long time I live up in northern South Carolina and we have decent barbecue but nothing like this. “I think I was exceptionally nice on a four point star I must say the meats was good. Definitely better then Chef Red in Augusta! Now what I didn’t care for was the sides. Macaroni and collard greens was ok. Just ok. Collards needed more soul and less vinegar. It give me can greens. Macaroni was cooked too dark for me. Where is the cheese! If I am ever in the area again. Definitely would give it a second chance“

“Sconyers has been a favorite of ours for a long time, so we were not surprised when we loved everything about our dinner last night. We typically get our meals to go, but this time we were able to sit down and enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect for a BBQ place, the staff is very friendly, and the prices aren’t bad at all.

My family of four ordered two of the large-size chipped pork BBQ plates (with their amazing hash/rice and their delicious pickles as sides). We requested extra plates for sharing, and we used the free bread to make BBQ sandwiches. Our total bill was $36 (we had three waters and one sweet tea to drink). That’s about the same amount we spend if we go somewhere like Zaxby’s … and we much prefer Sconyers!

If you’ve never been to Sconyers, it’s time. Stop looking for other places to eat today/tonight, and head on out to this place for delicious food and a welcoming environment.“

“Every time we come back to town, getting Mots is a must. We love their pulled pork and hash and rice but haven’t had anything there we haven’t liked! We have tried hash and rice other places and have yet to find anything comparable to our favorite, Mots!“

“First time here but it def won’t be the last. The manager Cliff was so considerate and accommodating! I had a taste for ribs and he recommended the baby backs cuz I like a lil bit o’ fat on my ribs and boi! Hit the spot. I didn’t even spend a lot at all. Yes! I recommend them. Oh yeah and I couldn’t believe how packed they were but I got my food in about 5 minutes after I ordered. Just good all around! I had to leave a fat tip :-)“

“I live in lincolnton. I can’t go to Evans without going to Goolsby’s. I’ve tried it all and it’s great. My favorite meal there is the fried loin, collards, black eyed peas(with some stewed tomatoes in the middle of them. Fried Cornbread. And last but not least…. Some of the best sweet potatoe soufflé you can get. That right there make you slap yourself.“
