Mot’s Pit Cooked Barbeque Reviews
Great food, friendly service, at a great price. Been eating here since 2002.
Every time we come back to town, getting Mots is a must. We love their pulled pork and hash and rice but haven’t had anything there we haven’t liked! We have tried hash and rice other places and have yet to find anything comparable to our favorite, Mots!
Good Food, Good Service, Reasonably Priced. Definitely Will Come Back Here Soon.

Mot’s Pit Cooked Barbeque offers a mix of experiences for its diners. Some reviews highlight a decline in food quality, particularly during the lunch buffet, where the pulled pork was described as bland, and other items like the burned meatballs and overcooked broccoli did not impress. However, the chicken pot pie and loaded baked potato salad received praise. On a more positive note, the restaurant is considered one of the best barbeque spots in the Georgia side of the CSRA, known for its traditional Southern barbeque, selection, and price. Diners appreciate the friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, and spacious dining area, which is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. The establishment has a perfect health inspection rating, and staff are accommodating, especially for dietary needs. While some may prefer a different soda brand, the overall experience is enjoyable, with many finding the ribs and double mac and cheese particularly delicious.
