“Nice little local bar, mostly regulars who were fairly friendly, Robin the bartender did quite well keeping our group supplied and fed, she was friendly and efficient. Nice place to stop and unwind. Pool tables and juke box complete the package.“
“Pretty cool spot. I had a crowbar with oat milk and some sweetener. Ambiance is mellow, and staff typically engages well with visitors. It's on the corner of broad and 11th, lots of movement in the area, but definitely something to checkout. Their menu is pretty large, but like most coffee shops you can have the drink catered to you.“
“This is your place if your looking to chill out in the unpretentious setting of a dive bar. The staff is friendly. Customers are laid back. The wings are DELICIOUS. Crispy, well seasoned, and juicy. My favorites were the lemon pepper, hot, and mild wings.“
“We drove from Greenwood, SC to listen to Southernly Proper last night. The night started off a little rocky as it was pretty hard to get a drink. The bartenders all seemed unwilling to help, until we met the red haired lady with the great personality! I never got her name, but tell her Findley says THANKS!! She kept the drinks coming and we had a blast! We will definitely be back!“
“Went for some drinks here the other night & the bartenders name was eve, she was the sweetest person! Made awesome drinks, and great conversation. Love this place now because it’s so chill & laid back & eve is the best bartender ! 10/10 recommend will definitely be a regular now“
“The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is great and the staff are efficient. My food always comes out quickly, and at the right temperature. They’ve got some really creative options on the menu- I love all of the burgers, and the barnyard pimp nuggs and waffle fries with maple chili glaze are always amazing.“
“The best burger I've had in a long time and I didn't make it at home!! My bestie was out playing pool and I was sitting with mom and couldn't leave so she ordered me a nice cheese burger. I know it was made quick because the sandwich was still hot when she brought it to me around the corner at the hospital. I've been here several times and it's a pool hall so the noise level will be just that of a pool hall. I will definitely try them again since I loved the cheeseburger“
“Been going to the Highlander very occasionally since 1990. Used to stop in otw home from camp lejuene to Atlanta in the early 90’s and have stopped in at least once every couple of years since. Out of all the bars I’ve spent time in, and there’s been more than I care to admit, this is THE most consistent one. Drink, throw darts, people watch, and definitely get a shepherds pie. This is a quintessential dive bar, except the smoking has been moved outside. Definitely the best dive bar in Augusta/ North Augusta for 30+ years- maybe more.“
“The Pork Belly Burnt ends were outa this world! The Corned Beef and Cabbage was perfect, so juicy and tender! The cabbage was seasoned perfectly and the mashed potatoes were delectable! I wish the vegetable servings were a little larger for the price though. The margaritas were just right as well. This is a wonderful restaurant for a cozy dinner atmosphere and delightful food.Being as it was St Patrick’s Day, they were extremely busy so our drinks and food were slow to be served, but worth the wait. Try Sheehans, you will be glad you did! ☘️Parking: They had outdoor dining tonight in some of their parking spaces, so parking at the restaurant was limited, however, there was side street parking available.“
