We had a great experience at Incendio! The service was top notch, from the greeting we received coming to the time we left. The food was great! Our server, Bre, was awesome and knew the menu front and back. She asked us our tastes and gave her recommendations based on our reply, and we were not disappointed! Incendio is a new restaurant in the neighborhood that has quickly become a hot spot. Guests have had a great experience from start to finish, with top notch service from the greeting to the time they left. The staff is super friendly, and the owner comes around to check on guests and have a conversation, making it feel personable. The revamped fire house has a cool atmosphere, and the building has been beautifully done.
The food is great, with the focaccia being the best in Augusta, the carbonara delicious, and the pizza right out of Naples. The pizza is an exact match to what would be served in a Napoli pizzeria. Apps like potatoes, mozzarella sticks, and olives are delicious, and the pizzas and pastas are exceptional. Desserts like the espresso dessert, lemon gelato, blood orange gelato, and pistachio gelato are all wonderful. There are great wine choices, and the Bellini is a 100.
Incendio employs adults with disabilities as part of their mission, and they do a great job supporting the wait staff. Reservations are a month out, but it is worth the wait. The log book is a nice touch. Highly recommend.
