“My wife and I tried it. We will be back. What a lovely experience. Food excellent. Food presentation excellent. Service excellent and prompt. Beverage choices were exceptional, including fine wines, whiskeys and thoughtfully prepared mixed drinks, using quality ingredients. Pricey? Yes, but worth it. Really worth it. I would rank it as being as good as in a very large metropolitan area like Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, etc.”

“Food was wonderful, but we were disappointed to see the tables around us be given a bit more attention to detail. We watched them receive hot towels to wash hands, sorbet palette cleansers, and tables being cleaned between courses. Must have been nice! Before our departure, we were given cotton candy in a shot glass. Not sure if this is the normal presentation, but it felt underwhelming. We didn't stick around to see what the tables on either side of us received. Overall assessment....The food and atmosphere are lovely. The service is a gamble.”

“Missed Tip Top Taps when they were on Washington road. So glad to see that they reopened downtown with an awesome hangout space. I threw a going away and it was such an awesome time. “We had a large (16 people) celebratory family dinner at Augsburg Haus last weekend, with relatives traveling from around the country. The food was delicious, the portions huge, and the wait staff were efficient, professional and friendly while managing our big group.

Those of our group who lived in Germany can vouch for the authentic recipes and good beer.

“Although I was looking for It's Just Wings, it was actually Chili's. I order the new garlic wings and they were so delicious. I love the dripping of the sauce....I would definitely order these wings against. The wings are a nice size as well.”

We began to eat the food and it was so salty it burn our tongues ...terrible...I called the owner and told her in which she said I'll refund your money...big lie...she has avoided me for a week and half now....this terrible food cost me 80$ ..I was fair and told her how bad it was and they have treated me completely unfair...take it from me save your money”

So, I knew exactly what I wanted for my own birthday; the white-chocolate raspberry bundt cake. ~~~~~~~~ I wanted an actual cake. My options were the 8” that *serves 8* or the 10” that *serves 18* (serving #s from website, $10 difference) Wasn’t sure of the # of guests attending b/c this was a casual dinner at my dad’s house, RSVPs weren’t a thing. Figured it was better to have too much than not enough so I got the 10. 5 guests finished half the cake. We didn’t have huge servings either, maybe 2” slices each. ~~~~~~~~ BIGGEST let down was their “TOPS Malibu Sparkler Candles” at $4.50 each (for the smaller size). I purchased 2 star shaped, a #4 and a #0. Four candles, $18. On the website they are described as: “TOPS Malibu Sparkler Candles…add the finishing touch to any Bundt Cake...From the first flicker to the final wish, our candles transform your cake into a memorable centerpiece…Sparkler candles burn clean and leave no black smoke or residue behind.” My dad and one of my brothers each attempted to light the candles. Nothing happened. Then, after about 15 seconds of a regular lighter being held to one spot, the spot turned black. No signs of any kind of spark or flame. My dad decided to look at the packaging they came in. On the back, it says, “May take up to 50 seconds to ignite using a *BUTANE* lighter”. (This info is NOT on the website. No one said anything when I placed my order over the phone or when I picked up in person). Total bust. ~~~~~~~~ In summary, the cakes are fabulous, but ask lots of questions before you order, especially about the decorations/extras/add-ons.”

“Wife Savers recently catered an event for St Alban’s Episcopal Church. I was very pleased with the service from first contact with the staff to the actual delivery and set up of the food. The food was delivered hot and it was delicious. The guests were very complimentary of all of the dishes especially the mac and cheese. The amount of food was generous and reasonably priced. I would use them for catering again for good service and food and no hassle.”

“Fan-freaking-tastic!!!!!! The lady was so attentive and the cook was superb!!! Food was served 4 seconds after coming out of the pan and everything was fried to perfection ?. Great service blended with a relaxing environment sprinkled with low prices and topped with AMAZING FOOD and I’m looking for the adoption papers to make it official ??? go and see for yourself.

This place is a lil too "hip" for family as they don't have changing tables for babies in either restroom, even though there is more than enough room for one to be installed.

“I live in lincolnton. I can’t go to Evans without going to Goolsby’s. I’ve tried it all and it’s great. My favorite meal there is the fried loin, collards, black eyed peas(with some stewed tomatoes in the middle of them. Fried Cornbread. And last but not least…. Some of the best sweet potatoe soufflé you can get. That right there make you slap yourself.”

“I’ve been eating here since 2020 and I’ve never been disappointed with the food and service. The food is delicious and comes in large portions. I usually spend between $50-$75 for a party of 6 adults. I always have leftovers for the next day. I think an order over $50 comes with a free 2 liter drink.

Even though there are tables to sit at, I think this is more of a carry out than a dining in experience. There’s been a few times I ordered in and had my lunch by myself inside their restaurant while my wife was getting her nails done at Ocean Nails.”

“Mi Rancho in Evans is my favorite Mexican restaurant (period). I travel from Hephzibah to Evans to get take-out, I know there are closer Mi Rancho restaurants but I like the Evans location. My food is always made to order, the customer service is always on point, and I love the atmosphere. Years ago my daughter had rehearsal with the Augusta Players Jr. at Greenbrier high school, instead of sitting through her rehearsal I had dinner at Mi Rancho, I’ve been comeback to this location for great Mexican food every since. Call me a creature of habit, ok. But, I know what’s good and I know what I like. Oh, by the way I did double to Mi Rancho’s for my daughter a entree to go. Maybe I’ll see you there.”

The place is beautiful. Zo had great recommendations on what smoothies to try. I had the Bahama Mama in a regular size, and I'm convinced I should've went larger. “Yesterday my kid was hungry. ONE hour before the parade had to start. I told her we could get a quick bit at Zaxbys. When we walked in almost PURE chaos. I was worried she wasn't got to get anything to eat. There were kids making a mess in the bathrooms, the ice was all over the place, long line and I was at the end of it. When we finally made it to the counter, my baby ordered and we waited. When her order was ready (which was quick) I went to get my drink NO ICE and NO COCA COLA! Which I didn't mind, it was pretty packed. The young lady was changing the syrup but she had to do 6 packs. I had a parade to go to. I was the driver of the float....ANYWAYS the entire staff was patient, friendly and helpful. Thank you for all you do. We made it back just in time! Merry Christmas.”

Everytime I come here it was always a blessing and a great time being there, recently when I came here, there was this really nice waitress named Lauren who’s extremely kind and courage and just a really sweet lady. The food is really solid and great as always, the people working there are really nice and really cool, the music that was playing is so solid, and the place is just reminds me of the time in the 50s where people used the diner as a hangout area to eat and just hangout after school. DEFINITELY A RECOMMEND!
