“Honestly, I don’t visit the south side much, and just expected this to be another hole in the wall like most businesses on gordon highway. Harvest table was not one of these places, prices are fair, food is well seasoned and prepared, and the place is spotless. If you’re looking for good, genuine soul food, stop here and sit a while. Their fried chicken was made with love, and personally, my favorite item was the broccoli casserole. If you stop by the harvest table, you will leave full, and satisfied with what you paid for. We couldn’t decide, so we chose to get 5 dishes: hibachi rice, lemon pepper ranch wings, the sampler, chicken egg rolls, chicken Philly, and the signature juice (I can’t recall the name). “When you step into this restaurant, you are transported into a place that feels so ethereal. I mean, they have smoothies, hot and cold food, desserts, salads, herbal supplements, coconut water, body wash, almost everything!I ordered a tempeh broccoli stir-fry and it was PHENOMENAL! Let me just say, the way it was presented and the different flavor combinations were absolutely out of this world. Five stars from me and I'm pretty picky!!I also ordered a #19 smoothie. Also, PHENOMENAL!! I know, your probably thinking, "how can this be?". I thought the same thing, too! There was a perfect combination of almonds and dates, you really can feel the love!I would recommend this establishment to everyone I know who is interested in bettering their health and still like to eat out.
