We enjoyed having girls night in the bar! The oysters were yummy and fresh, and the scallops were beautifully cooked as well! Our server, Micheal W., was phenomenal and took exceptional care of us! Can't wait to come back and get another Blondie Brownie for dessert!
We had higher expectations for it being a higher than average priced restaurant. It was my wife's bday. We got a free amazing bread pudding, but our main dishes didn't hit for the price we paid. Prawn grits and snapper. Prawn was too dry and the snapper was missing flavor. The cocktails were ok, also got Rockefeller oysters and they weren't all that. Too much spinach in the oysters. The service and ambience were the best thing about our visit.
Waited 15 min at the bar & was completely ignored after driving 1:20 min to try it... So I left... I had to ask them to even notice me... Very dissatisfied in the level of the service for the prices you have & the quality of flown in seafood you're offering.... I'm an East Coast Sales Director so I travel a lot & love trying all the spots.... I'll be back & try, again.....
Excellent service and meal at Abel Brown! The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was amazing! We will definitely return!
Used to eat here at when this was Bistro. We moved away and came back and the food is still excellent.
Incredible service and attention to detail! Server and General Manager were great! Food was very good and well timed between courses. Excellent plating/presentation
Wonderful experience at a great restaurant in Augusta . The lamb and trout was delicious!!
Wonderful experience, from drinks to dessert everything was delicious. Server Michael was awesome.
This is a great restaurant with great food and great service. Our experience this time was not quite as good as usual because we were placed in a room with a very large party and it was so noisy that it was almost impossible to talk. And I also feel like the prices are a little bit high here, but that seems to be the case everywhere lately.
The waiter recommended the halibut, however, they ran out. The crab cakes were excellent as was the crab stuffed trout and the Ceaasar salad.

The quality of our dinner and the service was excellent. I did not rate the experience as 5 stars due to the absence of bar seating for a pre-dinner cocktail and the entree choices. We had the pork chop and the trout that were both perfectly prepared. Not sure if I would visit again as nothing else on the menu appealed to us. If the menu piques your interest I would recommend giving it a try.
Mike was a very professional and knowledgeable waitperson. The food was outstanding as usual. A leak in the air vent interrupted our dinner, but our table was moved over to avoid the dripping water.
Michael and all of the staff AB was phenomenal! They made my celebratory dinner that much greater by providing friendly service, knowledgeable staff and amazing food and drinks! This has always been one of my favorite restaurants and never fails to deliver every time that I come. 10 out of 10 will recommend every time!
Last night I ordered the haddock because I wanted to try something different. I was amazed at the presentation. It tasted good but it wasn't delicious. From my personal opinion and tastebuds, I prefer the halibut and will probably order it when I visit again on Tuesday. The service is always top tier and this will always be my #1 place!! I'm loving the new chef!!
Always an amazing time at Abel! Michaels was great and the drinks and food were top notch.
