Abel Brown Southern Kitchen & Oyster Bar

We always enjoy Abel Brown's, yet next time we will request to sit at a table in the extra room. The booth and against the wall is just too cozy with others. The food was very good but low in quantity especially the Scallops for $52 for 3 scallops on a very small grits dish. It was almost an appetizer. And 3 Deviled eggs for $16 was a disappointment. 🤷🏼‍♀️ At least 4 so everyone at our table could have had one. Chardonnay was $18 a glass. Yikes 🤷🏼‍♀️

Able Brown is a gem that happens to be in Augusta. Our food and service were excellent! We always look forward to dining at Abel Brown and are never disappointed.

Able Brown is always amazing. The new summer menu has some fantastic additions like the heirloom tomato & burrata salad.

Fabulous experience for our group. I'm sure we were the loud ones with a group of 12, but thank you for hosting a wonderful Oyster Experience. My customer and my teammates really enjoyed dinner!

As usual everything was on par! Drinks were great, oysters were delicious. Golden beet salad went well with the pork chops grits.

I had a wonderful experience. From the host stand till the end, Abel Brown had excellent service, and everyone showed genuine commitment to a quality dining experience. My food was excellent. I had the beef carpaccio and harissa lime butter broiled oysters with a side of brussel sprouts. Would recommend to anyone celebrating something or traveling to Augusta.

Great food , the oysters are the best and the waiters are super. The bartenders are as good as you can get.

Superb. Food was delicious. Crab soup and trout were outstanding. John was our server and was very knowledgeable about menu and wine. He answered all of our questions and his service was great. Totally enjoyed our evening. Well go back! 😁

Always enjoy Friday evening family dinner at Abel Brown. There is an updated menu and the space has been refreshed. Everything looks great and the new menu options tempting. I always go to the pork chop and it never disappoints. New cocktails and always excellent service. Thank you Philip.

Always a good experience. Food is great and service excellent. Can be a bit loud and pricey (depending on your appetite) but an excellent restaurant. Always honors our requests via Open Table.

Went for our anniversary dinner and they made us feel special Lee was our server ; she was attentive, friendly and very helpful. 5Stars. We loved the chicken and halibut dishes as well as the oyster Rockefeller . Everything cooked to perfection; however I did not care for the pea soup and crab . Next time will get the okra fried The strawberry Sorbet was nice touch and was free because of anniversary! This restaurant is great for a special occasion .

All of our food was delicious. We had the calamari appetizer that was cooked exactly how we like it, nice and crispy. My halibut was delicious and the creamed jalapeño corn was fantastic. It was so good I wish there was more corn. My daughter ordered the rib eye, and it's was very fatty but tasted good. I felt they could have trimmed it better before cooking. The garnishes on the side were delicious. For dessert, we shared the chocolate croissant bread pudding. It was delicious. I usually find most restaurant food to be too salty, but all the food here was seasoned perfectly.
I expected this restaurant to be more formal with tablecloths, but it's casual with the servers wearing jeans and plaid shirts.
