The boys and I went for the first time today. Pro-tip: get there earlier in the day if you want to have full reign of the menu options.Probably the best classic bacon cheeseburger I’ve had in years. My buddy had the ribs, bomb. Pound cake and Banana Pudding Brownie, bomb. Try the different fruit flavored bbq sauces.Didn’t catch her name but the lady running the front was all sorts of funny. 10/10 spot. Definitely coming back.

Food truck at Riverwood Plantation Evans. There food is delicious: fries, sausage dog, potato salad, pull pork sandwhich, ribs and there original and spicy sauce is amazing. Very sweet owners.

Food was terrible. Ordered two ribs and quarter chicken and hash & rice, hot sauce. Ribs had been reheated in microwave and were closer to flavored leather than anything else. Chicken was undercooked and also reheated in microwave. The hash tasted like it had tamale red sauce mixed in it? Did not get any sauce at all.

Absolutely the best sauce hands down. The fried okra is out of this world and the chicken was moist and full of flavor. The friendly owner assured me I'd be back and she was so on point!

The food was not bad but could certainly be better. The bbq meats were perfect but the sides need some attention. I had the baked beans and potato salad. They were not bad but needed some flavor to kick off. You have some unique bbq sauce flavors. Those should be used in the baked beans as a kind of “secret flavor or sauce” it would bring the beans out well. The potato salad is not bad but it needs some tangy or a little bit of sweet taste. Bring your sides in with extra flavor would make me come back everyday. The bbq sauces are amazing is come back for a sandwich anyday.Parking: No issues

Great food. The people are really fun to chat with. Smells yummy and the folks at Alexander's really know how to produce great BBQ. I have to go back to try all their unique barbecue sauces. Since I live 3000 miles away I suspect I will order them on line. Keep up the the good work.

I just left your barbecue joint and I just want to let y’all know that this is probably some of the best barbecue I’ve had in a really long time I live up in northern South Carolina and we have decent barbecue but nothing like this. I bought way more food than I could ever handle on my own, but I am happily stuffing my face about to enter into a blissful meat coma. Thank you so much! Your staff was super friendly, too! I only come down here for work once a week at most but I will most certainly be back!

Okay, let me be clear. When it comes to certain types of food I need it to come from a certain setting. Sushi? Nice restaurant, not a gas station. Coffee? Roastery, not a cheap machine. And when it comes to barbecue (amazing, slap-a-snake kind of bbq), it better not be fancy. Cloth napkins? Fine china? Who are you trying to impress? Give me that cylinder block building with chipped paint and a gravel parking lot. Have a roll of paper towels on the table, serve it up on Styrofoam and with a large cup of sweet tea. I want to smell whiffs of wood burning and pork cooking as I walk in. But where might one find such a magical place? Right on Deans Bridge Road is where. I had made the foolish decision of walking past them at events, where they set up and serve basically the full menu. Don't ask me how I could do such a thing, but I did. And finally the day had come to give them their due respect. I came with a solid appetite, wanting to sample meat, sides, and dessert. As I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and the smells of barbecue heaven. Beans and pork and sauces and mac n cheese all blended together, like a symphony under the direction of a seasoned conductor. I was sure to let them know it was my first visit, as I always love to hear the stories and get a full run down. I learned about the in-house sauces (and a sample of each!), what makes each menu unique and tasty, and the goals for the future. But soon the time for talking was over and the time for eating (and ordering) arrived. My bbq go-to is pulled pork, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. Dessert is whatever is available. And sweet tea to wash it all down. This visit was no different. The hardest part was deciding which sauce I wanted. I like spicy and sweet and unique and that covers every sauce they make. They have one that is a watermelon base and oh is it refreshing to the palette. And as if I didn't have enough sugar going on between that and the tea, I landed on banana pudding for dessert. Also, all orders come with a hoe cake. Sure I could describe for you the creaminess of the mac and cheese or how tender the pork was or how the banana pudding made me close my eyes and smile in culinary ecstasy, but all that would be like a movie trailer that reveals too much of the plot. You just have to go. And if you see them at an event or market, be wiser than me and order something. You can thank me later.

Run DONT WALK! And here’s why… You know the spot is great when they have to say, we ran out??‍♂️! It was almost 4pm folks!!! And then you meet the people behind the counter… mind you, we did get into some NFL talk but it was clear this place loves to put the customers first… we haven’t even talked about the Marine symbol on the wall but (I’m Air Force ?) but then she introduced me to the blends of sauces! This is the first place that believes in their meat bbq skills so much that they tell you, choose your own adventure to your own food coma ?… chefs kiss! It was fantastic to experience a true BBQ artist who then says, here are 8 flavors you’ve never thought of to add to our already great BBQ meats! Are the sides great, hell yeah, but I can’t speak on the beans yet cause I forgot to ask for them??‍♂️! But there is no doubt, they know what they’re doing… ✌?Sep -19… I have photos and a video but for some reason I can’t upload them… when I figure it out I will??‍♂️✌???

I had my first event today. Service was amazing. BBQ pulled pork sammich was good. Mac n cheese was good. Collards had some strange grit in then. Not even sure what that was. But tasted good. Imma be back for sure. Anxious to try other things on the menu. Maybe upgrade to five stars.
