Applebee's Grill + Bar

It was a Monday just after 5pm light crowd we were seated. Our order was taken it was after 6 that my wife had her chicken fingers arrived and was cold, I ordered chicken Parmesan, after 10 minutes my order never came. Ask to talk to the manager she gave no reason and offered to pay, I told her no thanks don't want it. I paid for the cold fingers and left.

I understand the restaurant closes at 12, but we arrived at 11:02 and waited in the vestibule until 11:12. No one came to greet or seat us during that time.

This is definitely the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. We came for my childs birthday with 8 guests. We waited 70 minutes before leaving from how bad the service was. We only ever received one appetizer for our party and a salad for two members of our party after 60 minutes of waiting, one which requested no cucumbers due to an allergy. Even after witnessing the waitress write it down and repeat it back to us, she later had an attitude and claimed he never said that. We never received refills on our drinks; we never received any entrees.

I can understand if this was a busy night, but there were at most 10-15 tables filled the entire night. Parties who arrived after us left before us.

Any attempt to get our waitress attention was casually brushed off. Not to mention the manager was just chilling in the front on their phone.

I've had issues similar to this in the past after living here my whole life and this place has never changed. I would never recommend this specific Applebees to anyone. If anyone should want some, I would tell them it is worth the extra gas to go to Washington Rd, or pick something else, but never choose this establishment.

The service was bad the waitress we had need more training my husband food was cold and dried out and my food was over cooked we asked for stuff a couple of times and didn’t get it. They needed more help they could not handle the crowd

Jamal at Augusta Ga. Applebees is absolutely amazing, knowledgeable about menu, very friendly, great personality!!! Everyone go in and ask for Jamal, great server!!!

We waited 40 minutes until our appetizers arrived, which the spinach dip was awful. Then both of our meals came out burnt. The manager was unconcerned and need more hospitality training.

Overall the FOOD was OKAY but NOTHING TO WRITE HOME AND BRAG ABOUT! Unless your the kinda person that likes to PLAY OPPOSITE TEMPS With Your Food whereas your Mashed potatoes are Cold but your Iced Sweet Tea is Warm kinda GAMES. I didnt wanna punish my server for the Cooks in the Back of the house especially when I used to work at Applebee's when I was in my 20s as well..... BUT unfortunately MY SERVER (LGBT) Fella had amnesia for some reason. He just KEPT FORGETTING STUFF and my Bill STILL SEEMS WRONG TOO but neverminding that part, lets still tip him $10 at least because he was TRYING TO HANG IN THERE and he seemed overwhelmed I said. The Best Part about this visit was thw Convenient Parking Space In My Opinion. I ordered 3 of the 2 for $25 deals that were supposed to be accompanied by 3 Appetizers and 6 Entrees with 6 Glasses of Sweet Teas and I still paid $125 and some change but on what I don't know. The wait time was 35 mins or so even the lied and told us it'd be 20mins so honestly we were ALMOST READY TO GO BY THE TIME WE FINALLY MADE IT TO THE TABLE TO SIT DOWN WE WERE PRETTY TIRED AND JUST ABOUT READY TO GO AND STILL HAD ANOTHER 30 MINS WAIT AFTER TAKING OUR ORDER BUT WE SURVIVED IT! I just really wasn't Happy with the way that the food was so mediocre and Hot foods were served COLD!!! Even my SIZZLER SERVING SET UP that I ordered WAS DEAD WITH 0 SIZZLE JUST BARELY EVEN WARMED AND ITS ACTUALLY DESIGNED TO FRY AND SIZZLE UPON DELIVERY!!!! THE SERVER TRIED TO KNOCK THE SHRIMP AND ONIONS ETC OFF THE TOP OF MY Chicken in hopes of SNEAKING IN A FAKE FORCED SIZZLING NOISE and IT STILL FAILED. I THINK THE FACT THAT I USED TO WORK AT APPLEBEE'S REALLY MADE THE SERVER TOO COMFORTABLE AND IT MADE ME PAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO ALL OF THE FAILS AND COVER UP ATTEMPTS.

The food and service sucked! We waited well over 30 minutes for our food…the service itself was not up to par and the waiter was not pleasant at all. Don’t recommend this place’s eat at your own risk!!! ⛔️

Had to leave, took almost an hour to receive our food. They mentioned they were short on staff that day.

I use to love coming here. My last experience made me want to take a break. My food was cold and greasy, my husband didn't finish his burger, and although the waitress' service was excellent, I was still apprehensive about her handling our food after listening to her sniffing and watching her wiping her nose at the cash register.

I ordered 2 kids meals from doordash app at 12 noon today and only 1 was suppose to be without lettuce and tomatoes but both were without plus my pickup time changed 4 times before I received my order, 1st time was 12:18pm, 2nd time was 12:28pm, 3rd time was 12:33pm then the 4th time was 12:34pm, how it can change 4 times is beyond me?!?! The ppl working there were unsociable and couldn't answer my question when I asked him about the pickup times changing. I won't be back.
