In my group several ordered Italian food and 1 person ordered steak. The steak was good but the Italian food was not good. The caponata was so salty we couldn't eat it. The red sauce has a metal taste to it. Others noted the pasta was over cooked. It's really a steakhouse and if you go there for steak you will be fine.

This was our second time! We were in town to watch our daughter in the Head of the South Regatta. Started at the bar, which was lively and the bartenders were friendly and fantastic! Since our dinner reservation was at 6:30, we hung out and then got hungry - the hostess was nice enough to move our time up to 5:30! We got seated and had the most wonderful waitress. We started with the soup of the day, Italian wedding soup and the Med salad. Both delicious! Form our mains I had the lasagna and my husband had the chicken under a brick. He asked the waitress if he could sub out the potatoes confit for mashed, so she checked with the chef and it was all good - so accommodating! We finished off with the peach pound cake. It had whipped cream and vanilla ice cream on top. Perfect for the two of us! Augustinos is located inside the Marriott hotel, and it's beautiful inside! Gorgeous , grand lobby, lovely bar and there was a Starbucks inside as well. We will be back!

Our waiter, Martin, was wonderful! His suggestions were great. And he even offered to take a photo of us after watching me struggle to take a decent selfie. Lol! The food was wonderful and fresh. The Italian Wedding soup is a must try and that Bourbon Pecan Pie??!!! LOVE!! Thank you!

We were there with a large group during the Ironman race. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we were not seated until 7:30. We were given a limited menu. The food was adequate but not for the price. I paid $30 for gnocchi with chicken added. The grilled chicken was served on the side as a separate dish. The gnocchi was bland and the sauce was watery. The staff was at least hospitable and apologized for the delays but overall I would suggest finding somewhere else to eat downtown.

The white staff was super friendly, and the place was very clean and neat. I thought the decor was pleasing and the noise level was appropriate. The Mediterranean salad was fabulous! And they had gluten-free options for pasta, which was awesome. My partner said that the grilled steak he ordered was possibly the best day he had ever ordered anywhere. Good job!

Fatin is the most amazing staff member there! She’s goes above and beyond to make the experience one to cherish. We went there last year and she actually remembered us, what we ordered and where we sat. They are lucky to have such a pleasant employee that stuck around so long-hope she is paid well. People like her are hard to come by-it helps make people want to return. The food is divine, dessert delish. Prices reasonable .

Atmosphere, Food and Service was very good. The bad part was that they allow dogs in the restaurant. Next to us was a family with their dog sitting on the carpet next to them. Disgusting while you're eating dinner in an upscale restaurant. Would not eat here again with dogs in the restaurant. I can't believe the management allows this, bad for business !!!

Basics hotel food. This restaurant is in the Marriott. It has basic American food. Even though it says Italian. It’s solid not amazing not bad. Great if your just here for work and don’t have time to run out for a meal .

I was in Augusta for the Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival and the sky opened up and rained. We decided to stay in our hotel and have dinner at Augustino‘s at the Augusta Marriott. After looking up the restaurant, I found that I needed a reservation. We found that we didn’t need one. They had a smaller staff than usual because the festival included many food venues, but the rain forced everyone to seek indoor restaurants. We appreciated the honesty of Shay, the hostess and Doug, the manager, as they went ahead and cleared a table for me and my sisters. The service was incredible from the time that the manager poured our drinks for us to the time that Brandi, our waitress, came to take the order everything was great! The food that came was hot, looked appealing, tasted fabulous. No one had a complaint about anything. The calamari was fantastic. I am used to it being chewy, but it was very easy to eat. We also had spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp and grits, and shrimp and pasta. Everything had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. I appreciate how hard they worked to create an inviting atmosphere. The rain caused a larger number of patrons than was unexpected for this evening. Every that worked from the wait staff to the cooking staff, appeared to be extremely pleasant and moved like a fine oiled machine. As we finished our meal we heard Doug, the manager tell his staff thank you for stepping up to the challenge they experienced tonight.

After an unexpected storm interrupted the Arts in the Heart Festival, my party and I decided to go to Augustino's for dinner. Altbought they were understaffed, the head manager Doug, the hostess Shay, and our server Brandi, did a heroic job of seating us, providing hot meals to each of us, and excellent service. They handled the situation with patience and grace. We even overheard Doug thanking the staff for the excellent work and service they had provided in extreme circumstances. I highly recommend dining at Augustino's.
