I stopped in today because I recently purchased food from this location and genuinely enjoyed it. I had the pasta salad and thought it was good, which is why I fully intended to return and continue supporting this business. Unfortunately, today’s interaction completely changed that.
When we walked in, I was greeted and I returned the greeting. The employee then made a passive aggressive comment implying that no one had spoken, so I clarified that I had said hello. The exchange immediately felt uncomfortable, unnecessary, and unwelcoming.
I found it very off putting that the focus appeared to be on whether a customer spoke loudly or enthusiastically enough rather than simply providing a pleasant and respectful experience. The employee has no way of knowing what customers may be dealing with in their personal lives. Because of this interaction, my husband and I chose to leave immediately.
For context, during my previous visit I spent around $60 on several items, so this feedback is not coming from a lack of interest in supporting the business. It’s genuinely unfortunate to leave a review like this, as the product itself was good. However, customer service matters just as much as the food, and because of this experience, we will not continue to support this business.

Went in on my birthday and Tiara was friendly and so helpful for helping pick out several flavors of cupcakes! She made my day and the icing on top was they were so delicious 😋. So glad I googled cupcakes in the CSRA and she came up highly recommended and I understand why! Do yourself a favor and go support and give her a try with her delicious flavors! Definitely gained a new customer!

We stopped by while passing through GA. The owner was super nice. She offered a good variety of cupcake flavors. The red velvet cupcake was moist and delicious. The cookie pudding was excellent too. I'm glad we found this shop on Google.

Every time I’m in Augusta, I make it a point to stop by Baby Cakes. The owner is always so warm and welcoming—it’s more than just a transaction, she takes the time to chat and makes you feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. The cupcakes are amazing—so much so that now my friends always ask me to bring some back whenever I visit. Great people, great service, and incredible treats. Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of meeting Tiara when we walked in. She was so nice and helpful in deciding what to get for my daughter’s birthday party. I needed 17 cupcakes but she sells them by the dozen. I didn’t want to pay for another dozen and was very indecisive. Instead of trying to make a sale and being adamant about getting another dozen, she suggested I get a dozen from her and get some from a grocery store. She is also the sweetest! I had originally schedule for a pick up at 5:00 but forgot we had a soccer game and asked if it would be possible to pick it earlier and she made it happen. I love a business owner who cares about their customer and is willing to accommodate their customer to the best of their ability. Not to mention the cupcakes are gorgeous and delicious! Also, the peach cobbler is a must try! Thank you Tiara!

My experience.. First I want to say I have never tried anything from here and never will. I went in to get a menu a couple weeks ago and planned to try out some of her cupcakes. I Immediately felt off energy from the owner. As if she has some chip on her shoulder.. “Please” She wasn’t very friendly and definitely lost a customer. The owner was more worried about her ratings than actually gaining a customer. As an influencer/business owner I rather take my money to a business with professionalism.
