The service was friendly and attentive. Especially considering it was Masters in Augusta. The food was deliciously seasoned. The breading for the catfish was crispy and not oily. Scallops being grilled were tasty, but maybe they were a tad overcooked. On the chewie side. The oysters rockefeller was the star. I would get 24 the next time. We chose to sit outside on the patio, and they had the windows open. It was a bit chili.

Catfish and grits were amazing, hush puppies brought back all the childhood memories. Steamed oyster were quite good. Just wish I could shuck them myself so they stay warm longer.

Excellent in all categories!! Our servers name was Aubrie and she was so personable, recommended good drinks, smiled and was respectful. The food came out hot and in great time and tasted wonderful. Also the portions were excellent sized and plenty to take home for a night time snack. Will def return and thank you for the wonderful experience!!

It kills me to give this place such a low rating because the staff is great and the fried fish/chicken strips are probably the best I have had in the area (their batter is terrific). However, their side dishes are underwhelming at best. They only have like 5 options, half of which are rice. I got the fries which turned out to be the cheap freezer bag variety and were served lukewarm. My friend wanted the potato salad but they were out. My biggest complaint is the “service fee” they hit you with on the bill. I hate restaurants that do this kind of scam. Whatever this hidden fee is intended to cover, just be up front with your customers and incorporate it into your menu prices! Customers don’t like likes surprises.

I came to Beamie's with friends. I enjoyed myself! The food was great as well as the service. The prices are reasonable too. I had the basket with shrimp and catfish, and it was delicious! Overall a great place to get some seafood when you are downtown.
