I have never been a waffle person, but Cafe on 8th has created such a delicious and savory way to enjoy waffles. I had the low country waffle which has the essence of a delicious bowl of Shrimp and Grits. The waffle texture of course is not grits, but held its own with the crunchy corners and pillowy centers that sopped up all that rich flavor. I'm excited to try the other dishes soon.

This was my first time eating here and I was a bit confused by the ordering process. It felt a bit like I was inconveniencing them by being there and asking questions and that I should have done my research before coming in.

For what they lack in service they make up for, somewhat, with food quality. I had the blueberry waffle and it was an above average waffle with a good balance of flavors. (7.8/10) The sweet tea was a bit above average from what I’ve had...

Workin the Hurricane H relief & Cafe on 8th was just the Relief I needed this morning. Hands down best omelet & coffee I've had in a very long time. Please do yourself a favor & let these Beautiful people take care of you!
