Attempted to eat here with a coworker this week and from the moment we walked in the hostess immediately attempted to seat the people who were very obviously standing behind us. (The people behind us were just as confused as us…) Then after being seated, we waited a few minutes for another man to come take our drink orders only to watch those same ladies who were standing behind us order alcoholic drinks and receive their drink orders before we received our waters….so we ended up walking out… awful customer service and I will not be back.

My wife and I came here for dinner yesterday evening. We were greeted immediately and seated in a booth in under a minute. Very clean and nice atmosphere, with soft music playing. Our server, Kelsey, was very professional and helpful. I ordered the Shrimp Taco Bowl and my wife got the Gringo Taco with one chicken and one beef taco. Our orders came out in about 5 minutes, and they were great! My bowl was about 10 inches in diameter and very full, with excellent shrimp along with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sauce. Her order was served on a metal rack so the tacos stayed upright, and she loved them! Plenty of free chips and salsa as well. Clean restroom, too. We both got a doggy bag of leftovers. We loved it , and will be back. Highly recommend Cantina Locale!!
Parking: They are in Daniel Village shopping center, so absolutely tons of free paved and marked parking, you could put a hundred cars and not even feel it. Also, close to the entrance, and numerous handicapped parking spots.

Food is fantastic, management is top notch. The pork belly tacos are my personal favorite. Annelise is an amazing server. Very funny, attentive, and patient when her customers get lit on 5 dollar marg night.

This place is amazing, they have a unique and very delicious twist on Mexican cuisine. Indoor seating is great, the outdoor seating even better depending on the weather. They have great live entertainment weekly, again depending on the weather. The servers and management are a great team. My wife and I go there once or twice a week when we can, especially on Taco Tuesday. They have great specials to offer, make sure you try the frozen vodkaritas, Blueberry is the best. Don't forget the Queso! Hands down the best in Augusta.

The tacos came out cold and bland. The tortilla had grill marks but felt like it came from the fridge. The toppings were cold and bland. The gauc tasted off. The bar looked nice

Delicious. Can't wait to try again. My brother turned me onto this place. Sounds like happy hour is the time to be here. They serve all types of drinks, coke products, & of course margaritas. All the meats...steak chicken, shrimp & pork. ALL with a lot of flavor.

Don’t waste your money at this place! My husband and I came in for a quick dinner for the first time. The reviews made sound like it might be a cute place to try. Our waiter was nice but he was not very knowledgeable about the menu. In any case he was not the issue. First what kind of restaurant that claims to be Mexican doesn’t offer real fajitas on the griddle? We ended up ordering the farmers market tacos and requested to add steak to it since it was vegetarian. The waiter failed to mention that the steak addition was $5/taco. When the tacos came they had literally 2 small cubes on each taco. Nothing I would call a steak up charge. I worked in the restaurant business for 15 years. If we charge for steak you will see the steak. Anyways the 3 tacos cost 30 dollars. With barely any meat on them. My steak bowl was 14$ and it actually had a full steak on it so this just didn’t add up. I complained to the manager. Who looked like she was going to a frat party. Very unprofessional. She said she couldn’t do anything about it because that’s how the owner wants it. I was thinking so what is your job here? She looked at me cluelessly. I even asked her if this is how the business plans to keep its customers. And she just looked at me some more like an idiot. I understand how to run a business and this is not it. For every bad experience this place gets there are 10 more who hear about it and that’s more lost business. The food tasted like it came from a can. Go to a real Mexican restaurant and spend your money on authentic food that actually fills you up and satisfies your cravings. You’ll most likely also get better service and an adult professional manager who can handle any complaints you have. This place will not last long. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK here!!
