Ordered through the Checkers app - missing a burger, and then found cheesecake bites instead of cheeseSTEAK bites. So I had funnel cake fries and cheesecake bites for dinner. Of course no one would answer the phone either, so thanks for nothing. At least McDonalds knows how to read a mobile app order correctly.

They forgot to supply the requested sauce and one of the tenders was not fully cooked. It was fried while folded in half. The interior was not done.

This particular location gave me the worst food poisoning. I bought a spicy chicken sandwich meal only ate the sandwich and within an hour I’m experiencing the worst vomiting and diarrhea with severe abdominal pain. I’d advise you to go to the one on Bobby Jones or stop eating from these fast food places bc it is not clean and will get you sick. This is day 3, and I had to go to the ER for hydration and antibiotics.

2025-10: I've been to this location a handful of times over the last several years. The employees have always been pleasant and the food decent. I like this location better than most in the area, likely due to the noticeable difference in the employees attitudes/demeanors being better than others.

Food was spot on with any other checkers. Fries, perfect. Lady at the window was super nice. Not a fan of the AI order taking and the building/parking lot is dated for sure, but then again, it's on par with the rest of this side of Augusta. But it's outward appearance should not dissuade you from getting food here. I just wouldn't sit down outside to eat if you lack a hood pass and/or have a family with small children. Remember where you are at.
I came from SC to try for the first time, this is some of the best fast food I’ve had. The service was awful but that’s pretty much all fast food so 3 stars for that, don’t let these minimum wage delinquents ruin your experience. Great food!

TERRIBLE experience around 3:30 today was this lady who was talking so fast that I couldn’t even under stand what she was saying by the time she was done speaking she had closed the window not asking me if I understood her or not she told me to pull up up next to the drive thru without parking she didn’t check if I understood her so I thought she told me to pull up next to the tables about 10-15 minutes later I didn’t receive my food so I went up to the window to see what happened to my food as soon I as I asked about my food the same lady who was at the drive thru had yelled to me: IF I TELL YOU TO PULL UP TO THE DRIVE THRU THEN PULL THE DRIVE THRU after she told me that the lady behind me and told me that’s now her first time having a attitude like that which she then said a few weeks before she had got into it with her also about her attitude disgusting.
