There’s never consistency whenever visiting. I took a chance tonight because of my craving for a good fish sandwich and it definitely caught me by surprise. Von & Shep made our order fresh. Von was very nice and made sure everything was correct and met all expectations, even though it doesn’t seem like much but hands down they are the only two who should be running Checkers. Kudos to them both and thank you both for our fresh and tasty food.

The virtual assistant you have to order with doesn't work, and when it says "transferring you to a team member," no one is there to take your order. After waiting and waiting, he ended up using their app. That was also a mess as it didnt want to let me choose a sauce but kept saying "sauce required" and then on one combo randomly decided Mr pibb wasn't an option after I chose it for several previous combos. While I like their burgers, their decision to get rid of people for subpar virtual voice to text programs makes them not worth the hassle.

11/27. 228 Bobby Jones Expy, Augusta, GA 30907 Checkers. Pulled up, rolled down the window, got an instant high from the two guys smoking outside at the tables 20 feet away. They were inconvenienced by us pulling up at 6pm, you know... dinner time. Then the best part, they proceeded to casually go inside to get ready for our order that we decided not to place. As we drove away, it was clear that's their normal operation. The two guys were just BSing with the one girl covering while they're outside getting the whole parking lot high. Laugh it up.
