Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Me and my party of 4 were told there was no wait so we got seated immediately. The hostess walked us through the whole restaurant to then seat us right next to the entrance. We waiting about 15 minutes for our server until i got back up and asked the hostess about it. Our server was incompetent and when we got our drinks there were 3 ice cubes in every one.(I work in a restaurant so i cut some slack) We ordered appetizers and after 30 minutes we still haven’t received it and we hadn’t seen our server so we just got up and left.

Got seated right away and someone came to take our drink orders, 10 mins later a different server came to take our drink order. Our second server was very nice and we never saw the first one again. Bathrooms were horrible and disgusting with two toilets clogged and feces and blood on the other two. There was profanity being yelled from the kitchen. When our food finally came, we just asked for to-go boxes. Will definitely not be returning.

Horrible experience our 1st server DAngela was rude had us waiting for drinks then when she brought the drinks her phone rung so she then made us wait while she went to the bar and sat at a table on her phone. I asked for a manager at this point when we ask the manager for another server she proceeded to say "yea get them another server" right in front of the manager how rude. Our 2nd server Juan kept complaining about how we had to wait for condiments and refills bc he has a section on the other side of restaurant and the manager from the kitchen really didn't show concern

food is good , but this place has gone way downhill . the servers used to be so nice and attentive , but now …. the servers are rude and have no time concept whatsoever . our waitress didn’t give us utensils , napkins , or even refilled our drinks . she was at a table behind us more than she was at our table . walked by us several times after that table and never asked us if we needed anything or even spoke to us. had to ask the bus boy to grab us some utensils to eat with . my friend ordered sweet tea and took her almost 45 minutes just to refill it , and when she did , it was unsweetened tea . asked for a lemon for it and she just slid the lemons on the table and just kept walking . and that’s why she didn’t get a tip from either of us . hire better staff . these people are rude and have no respect for customers .

The food was average, and luke warm. I had to return once to get the rest of my order. They were also out of some of the items, and I had to make substitutions in the parking lot. It's just a very unpleasant experience.

I was in town visiting family. Went to cheddars for dinner. We stood at the entrance waiting for a hostess and no one showed. I went to the back to find someone and finally had to go to the bar to ask to be seated. The bartender notified someone and we were seated. No one ever came back to take our order. After about 10 minutes or so we got up and left. I don’t want to think that the reason. We won’t visit cheddars again. Do better!!

The server was nice and polite..
don’t pay attention to details asked for no mushrooms on my food brought me a plate out with mushrooms all over it told them to take it back. I do not want anything else nor do I want them to replace it. They tried to force the plate up on me and I refused three times no thank you it was more than manager, trying to force the food up on me not the server.

2nd visit :we enjoyed it..I had the Ribeye, corn, loaded mashed husband had chicken fried steak,baked potato, corn. It was fantastic. I would now highly recommend this place. The service and atmosphere were outstanding. Portions are large so come hungry.... Husband's hamburger was raw and French fries were cold. My shrimp was extremely over cooked and was tough. She replaced the hamburger ( iron was worse than the first and they changed me for the fries!!! Bill came to a little over $50.. to think we could have gone to the best restaurants!!

Parking: This place is the worst place we've been and it's expensive. I would like to say upon our 2nd visit I would rate the food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We will be returning

Food was very good! I’ve been to several Cheddar’s locations and this one was just OK. The service was not to the standard that I’ve experienced at other Cheddar’s locations. Sat at the bar and the bartender was not very friendly and spent more time on his phone than paying attention to customers. He seemed not very interested in doing his job. Spent most of my meal with an empty glass then another 15 minutes waiting on him to process my payment. Overall, this location didn’t feel very clean, like other locations I’ve been to. And no customer wants to hear staff standing around complaining about work. But, like I said, the food was very good!
