First time going and it's a nice small friendly establishment. The business is run by the owner and his wife and their customer service is superb!!! Will definitely go again.

Excellent Food, Excellent Hospitality, Older Cottage and Very Clean. However, they don’t have a child’s price. Family owned/operated.Dietary restrictions: Low to no sodium; no pork in veggies; prepared by a chef not a cook

Unimprovable. Don't let appearances fool you: when judged by its unique standard this unassuming structure is the home of people who know how to put it on the plate, simple as it may appear but complex in its traditional flavors. You will not leave here hungry, and your only concern will be that they do not charge enough to continue providing this downhome experience.

The Chefs House is a landmark in the city of Augusta, Ga for great food, hospitality and fun loving family atmosphere. I would encourage anyone to include, The Chef House as the place to go for a selfcare day!

Made a stop in Augusta. Decide I wanted to eat somewhere besides the same old fast food restaurants. So I googled place to eat. Chef's House came up. Boy, I was surprised. The food is delicious. The baked chicken was so good. The owners Chef George and Ms. Tammie were friendly and great. Love visiting these family owned restaurants that they put their heart and soul into it. Anytime I'm back in Augusta I will stop again.

2013/2014, We were in Augusta Georgia 4 days for a New Year performance and they provided catering services for the Stone City Band and a film crew for a James Brown documentary. The food was excellent and the owners treated everyone as if family . We've been waiting for another reason to get back there and enjoy those yummy southern delicious delights again ??

Very cozy restaurant. Chef is available to talk with and give compliments. Great family owned restaurant. Very clean and comfortable. Food was great. Good selection with the buffet. On this particular day, the menu was salmon in a light dill sauce, barbecue chicken quarters, and fried pork chop. The salmon was perfect and light. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The sauce sweet and tangy. The pork chop was the star. Fried and very tender.Side options were steamed rice, stewed petite tomatoes, corn and lima mix, and jambalaya. The corn bread was very good. This restaurant was well worth the experience. The staff friendly and meeting every need. Parking in back is recommended.Parking: Park in back of building. More space and room.

There was the most wonderful hostess I have ever met. The food was delicious, and the peach cobbler was to die for. The Chef's House doesn't owe me anything.

I have always wanted to try this place and today was the day. The chef/owner was very personable and friendly. The food was delicious; wonderful southern cuisine. All you can eat buffet includes salad and dessert and bread. The atmosphere is a friendly family style vibe. Beautiful decor; and very clean. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. Just when you think your dessert was the sweetest part of the experience the owner which is the Chefs wife sees you off and asks about your experience. I felt like a VIP and family when I left. This place is a true gem and my new favorite spot.
