Red velvet cake has gone downhill for years now. The staff does not mix the cake well and only the middle is red. The rest of the chocolate cake isn’t good either. It tastes dry and has a rough texture. It’s a shame because they use to have the best red velvet in town.

Disappointing on so many levels! I have purchase Red Velvet cakes from this bakery many of times before. Excellent cakes, however the cake that I was sold most recently was far below the standards of this bakery. My cake of choice was Red Velvet. That is not what I received. It was dry, lacked flavor and it was brown. The bakery representative that I spoke with did her best to address all of the issues that I had with the cake by saying… Our cakes are made in batches and sometimes they do turn brown around the edges. Just not the same.

I think the customer service is very lacking. They must not want orders. I called during business hours on Thursday. No one called me back that day. I didn't hear from them until Friday. I wanted a cake for the following Wednesday so I called during business hours during Thursday for Cake for Wednesday six days later. When I finally talk to them on Friday, they informed me it would be an extra $20 for the $60 cake because it was less than four or five business days. I explained that I had called Thursday during business hours, which would have been four business days until I wanted the order. I was told sorry. They have good cakes, but I've never heard of a business charging extra this many days ahead of time for a cake. I have permanently lost my business

Once a year we are in Agusta for a convention. It's always the highlight of my stay to grab a selection of the best cakes I've ever had to enjoy and share with others that have never had the pleasure of tasting these wonderful creations from the Cotton Bug. With the large selection you are sure to find your favorite!

Best chesesecake on the planet! Order early, though, but they do have assorted minicakes available in the case on a daily basis.There are also pecan turtles, buckeyes, and oreos, among other assorted chocolate dipped pretzels, etc. All of which we amazing and the prices were not bad at all!!

These reviews are pretty old. I did not get any cake, but I did get other sweets like macarons and brownies. The macarons are too crunchy and the filling was falling out. The brownies were hard as bricks and nasty. When I asked why the brownies were hard they said they were still trying new recipes, and no refund was offered even though I had only opened it.

Their cakes are usually really good especially the Red Velvet Delight. We have eaten their cakes about three times so naturally I was excited when my husband surprised me for my birthday with a Red Velvet Delight. And I must say, this cake was not fresh and the middle did not have cheesecake..it was like regular icing..to me, this was the best part of Red Velvet Delight because I adore cheesecake. I was happy for the surprise but very disappointed at the quality, "pre-ordering". The edges were dry. We actually tossed the cake away after trying to eat it..it felt like punishment after awhile. Such a sad cake ending to a beautifully planned day from my husband.
