This is exactly what Augusta needed. A great place to come and socialize with genuine people from the community who are passionate about the culture here. Great conversation great mix drinks and shots.

Went to check out this place while downtown. Arrived at time of opening and was ordered to step out until they were ready to be “open” by someone who appeared to be the bartender. Didn’t offer a place to sit down or allow us to check out the arcade games while they finished getting ready to open. We took our business elsewhere and will not be returning.

In response to the owners response: your staff should be prepared for the opening and not be rude when they aren’t ready. Your response shows a lack of leadership. There are too many bars downtown that offer better service than your establishment for you to be so arrogant in your response.

Cool place to visit and see all the different taps, but some of the games were out of service. The live music was great.

If you're looking for a nostalgia trip inside a bar, check out Ready Player One! This place is a neon-lit dream for anyone who grew up loving the '80s and '90s—or just wishes they had!
The vibe is pure retro magic: old TV commercials on the screens at the bar, neon lights, your favorite old school games (plus some slots as well) and 80s inspired cocktails.

It’s the kind of spot where you can sip a craft cocktail like a cool kid with one hand and crush high scores with the other.

The music takes me back to my favorite middle school dance memories..😂 and when they have a DJ or live band, it’s like your favorite ultimate 90s CD collection.
Whether you're out for a fun date night, catching up with friends, or just reliving your arcade glory days, Ready Player One delivers a nostalgic, high-energy night out that’s hard to beat. We'll definitely be back (probably in leg warmers next time).

Walking into Ready Player One is like entering a time capsule from your favorite decade. First, the decor… they didn’t miss an opportunity. No corners were cut to ensure you are adequately time-warped. The bar is amazing! I want to commission one for my pool! Now for the games… I was skeptical about wanting to mix gaming into my nights out, but this bar gives you choices. You can dance, sip at the bar, or indulge your competitive side in the arcade area. What’s even more impressive, they have a courtyard outback with their own food truck. Lastly, I love the eclectic crowd. All are welcome, as long as you’re there for a great time! I must say… this bar is high on the list of my favorite Augusta spots and securely in the top three.

The bartender with the long hair was too busy talking to her friend at the bar to pay attention to the customers. Seemed like she had an attitude whenever we asked her for anything or was outright ignoring us. The other bartenders were great. You need a wider variety of drinks on your menu. If I come back it'll be just to play games. I'd rather go a few locations down the street for drinks

When you first walk up the building you will be greeted with some classic games and a wonderful atmosphere just at the beginning of the door as you walk in your greeted with gorgeous lights hundreds of bottles of different liquor you may enjoy,

And the smiles of so many beautiful staff members .

Now I may not be a drinker myself, but coming in I was already welcome. I wasn’t judged for the fact that I do not drink. I was asked if I would like a water or anything which I gladly accepted.

When walking around the environment, you notice that there are games when you first walk into the building, you have some games that are set for free and then in the back you have games that cost anywhere from $.25 to a dollar.

You have the option to use an ATM or a change machine which are placed conveniently for your convenience.

Overall, for a game bar, I get this a 10 out of 10, especially with Augusta not already having a lot of entertainment. It’s nice to see a place with so much spirit and lively ness

Very fun here with a DJ. One of the best spots in Augusta. Could use some more games. Good drink selection.
