Online says open, sign outside says open but a man outside on the grill says they not open. It's 1:20pm. I have seen this place for a while and finally decided to stop by. On the door it says only 3 customers at a time. Don't waste your time.

The best chicken I have ever had. The owner/cook/server was friendly and likes to chat. He smokes it all fresh right out in front of the restaurant. I’ll return next time work brings me to Augusta.

Best BBQ I have had in 14 states. Mr. Monroe is a virtuoso who has mastered his craft. The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because I can't give more. Don't let the menu fool you, the sides are just as good as that slow smoked BBQ.

Everything was great. the meat is so tender it falls apart. Eat here once and you will be hooked.

Chicken had a good smoke flavor but a little overcooked and dry. About half the skin was rubbery, other half crispy. Mac and cheese was good and collard greens were VERY good. Hash is a on the thin side and a little too much tomato flavor from the BBQ sauce he adds (I think).

Rib plate with Collard Greens and Mac and Cheese Corn Bread. Ribs were falling off the bone and good with no sauce. But the sauce was delicious also.
