Best BBQ I have had in 14 states. Mr. Monroe is a virtuoso who has mastered his craft. The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because I can't give more. Don't let the menu fool you, the sides are just as good as that slow smoked BBQ.
Chicken had a good smoke flavor but a little overcooked and dry. About half the skin was rubbery, other half crispy. Mac and cheese was good and collard greens were VERY good. Hash is a on the thin side and a little too much tomato flavor from the BBQ sauce he adds (I think).
My husband and I each ordered the rib dinner with 2 sides, I had the cole slaw and potato salad, he had macaroni and cheese and collards. ALL was outstanding! The ribs were perfectly cooked and juicy, you honestly don't need the barbecue sauce especially if you're a rib lover.Will definitely recommend and most certainly will come back!!Keep doing what you are doing sir!
