The chef that made the omelettes made them in such a way, when you cut into it, it did NOT fall apart and was very tasty, he made 3 for me, wife & son. The waitress was very attentive when we needed water refills. Coffee tasted kind of burnt, but the food was good enough to where we stuffed ourselves.

The pasta dish was excellent and wine was wonderful. Husband c/o batter on his meal too salty and overly fried . But he refused to complain and continue to eat it !!! We did speak to our sever about this , she offered to have something ordered or redone . 10-28-2025 Thank You Arleen Harms

Our server was Amanda. She was a jewel and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was great and the food was good. Highly recommend for breakfast/brunch if you're visiting the Augusta area.

Ideal for a date night, a celebratory dinner, or even solo at the bar, the service here is impeccable. Our server Amanda was professional, attentive and very kind. The tables are spaced comfortably apart, which was especially appreciated as one of our guests used a walker and had no trouble navigating in the dining area. There was a warm, quiet energy throughout the restaurant as well and the decor was an added bonus. The food was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend the crab hush puppies. Delicious! Wonderful experience overall.

Party of 4. Our server, Amanda, was super. One person had shrimp & grits & reported that it was excellent. Another had the Halibut special which was excellent but pricey. A third had the classic burger which was very good & the 4th member of our party had the crispy Cod dinner - the cod was good but had a lot of batter & the French fries served with the cod fish & also with the hamburger, were disappointing - soft & somewhat burnt. Generally our party thought the food was pricey.

Came gate with another couple for dinner at 7:15. Service was super slow, didn't get dinner until almost 9 pm.

I have lived in Evans/Augusta for 4 years and until recently, had not heard of Edgar's Grill. Now that my family and I experienced a wonderful meal there this past weekend, I would say, without a doubt, that it is an excellent, well-run facility; the best my wife and I have eaten at since we moved here. It is 100% a well-kept secret and definitely deserves greater marketing and advertising. They have an impressive partnership with Helms Culinary School, offering first class training and experience to Augusta's finest young chefs in training. The menu is equally impressive with exceptional offerings to include beverages and tasty desserts. Finally, the service staff's ability to handle a table for ten with the utmost professionalism and class sets the standard. Our waitress has worked at Greg's for 12 years-an incredible example of loyalty and the fact that Edgar's leadership truly cares about its staff. Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. Come out to support it, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Feel like the restaurant does not push the quality of service until the closing hour. At 1:30 (closes at 2 pm on Sunday) , the food service lids were closed, the food was not as fresh, (hot food), the fruit had been picked over and there were only remnants of fruit left to choose from, the quality of service in food area was scarce as well...YET, we were STILL charged the SAME price as the other customers who possibly had earlier reservations. There was no equity of fairness as to equal customer service or quality of food service.
