Great prices for breakfast.

It was actually not bad. I work in a hospital and would have had to 10 dollars or more for what I got. Eggs, turkey bacon drink hashbrowns banana and a biscuit. I paid 3.55. Wow.

Rarely as busy as the other DFACs on base. Food seems to be better. 4/5 cause you have to pay with cash.

Better than defect 13 less packed overall great time if you have a car try it out
Located on the 3rd floor of Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ike's Cafe (IC) seems to be the one and only cafeteria in the hospital, but I also didn't wander too far off from the office I was visiting. When I asked staff for places to eat, it's the only place they suggested, so I am assuming it's the only one, or at least the only one they see worth visiting. It seems like IC changed their operating hours in August of 2019 due to some staff shortages. IC offers a variety of hot food and packaged-grab-and-go items like sandwiches, salads, yogurts, chips, fruits etc. For hot food, they offered 2+ specials at meal times (only 2 indicated on the menu board) and also had a secondary hot bar with breakfast items (maybe they serve breakfast all day?) The first day I was there, the menu indicated Fried Pork and Meatloaf, but there was also Chili Mac and Chicken Wings. There were various sides to choose from. I got Fried Pork, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, boiled cauliflower (no seasoning), a bottle of water and large chocolate chip cookies (2 in a pack) and a bottle of water was under $6. On the second day, I got Fried Catfish with rice and tomatoes. I guess the Catfish is pricier because the meal on the second day with one less side and less items totaled up to more. Anyway, the prices were still pretty cheap. Overall, the food is standard hospital cafeteria food, if you know what I mean. Having said that, I was satisfied with the overall value of the food. It was hot and it served the purpose. There is seating in the main area with some tables marked reserved and more seating in the solarium toward the back. I do believe IC is still open between meal times. They just don't have hot items and people behind the hot bar to serve. It is more of a grab-and-go of the prepared and packaged foods. It was quite busy when I went around 11:30 am. Lots of traffic here at prime meal times! Stay safe, Friends!

The food here is way better than the food that they have in DFAC 1, 4 or 6. *It gets busy during lunch*
