We celebrated my aunt’s 70th birthday here last Saturday. Everyone was so pleased with the whole experience. There was literally not one thing that could have been altered or done differently to make the event better. Everyone went out of their way to make her feel special and to help me in anyway they could. The food was incredible and the service was beyond amazing. Megan and Nick were such a blessing to me!!! Both had thought of things and had them ready even before I could ask. Everyone’s order was correct and no one needed to ask for anything because they were right on top of it. Megan and Nick made this whole experience 1000% better than I had ever imagined, which meant the world because this lady means so much to me. We will definitely be going there again for our next celebration. Thanks again Megan and Nick! You are both an enormous asset to French Market!!! Hold on to them tight guys!

Great food and great service. The barbecue shrimp were fantastic. They were a little spicy, but not too hot. I ordered counters but the came out steamed. Still ate them and they were tasty. Great restaurant in Augusta.

I can not say enough great things about this place. I was reluctant since it was in a strip mall and not in the downtown area but this was a great surprise! This was the best Cajun/creole food, even better than New Orleans. We cook a lot of Cajun/Creole food and we are very critical but this restaurant blew us away with the food. The service was great and it was so clean. Highly recommend!!! Plan to go back again next time we are in town.

This restaurant has been a staple in Augusta forEVER! This WAS the place to go. Unfortunately, it's not anymore. My husband and I went last night. The restaurant is VERY dirty and dated, the atmosphere was terrible, food just ok. $30+ for the crab chop is ridiculous. The only highlight was our server, Nick. He was very attentive and gave us great service. With that being said, we will not return.

Another wonderful Happy Birthday dinner for my (twin) friends, celebrating another wonderful dinner at the FMG, which we do annually, a tradition and meal as good as ever, superb! Thanks to Walter, Rick & staff. The FMG & y'all are an Augusta treasure.

My husband and I visited this place a few weeks ago and it was better than we anticipated. We got the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were crispy but they lacked flavor. We got the stuffed salmon and the blackened seafood pasta for our entrees and they were great. Both were well seasoned and fresh. The best thing about this place was the waiter. He was kind and attentive, even though he was the only waiter working and the place was pretty busy. This is a great place for a date night or just a nice dinner.

My wife and I have dined at the French Market Grill for more than 20 years and have NEVER had a bad meal, in fact, the food is consistently delicious, Of course, we have our favorite server but, the service is top notch, friendly yet professional. The ambiance has changed a bit over the years. When we first started dining there the decor was full on New Orleans. Now it has toned down the New Orleans vibe. My lone reason for not giving a fifth star is that the restrooms are not exactly accommodating for those of us who rely on our wheelchairs for our sole means of locomotion. Regardless of the restaurant, I want the wash my hands after handling the menus and I find it difficult in the French Market Grill. That slight inconvenience is not enough to warrant my not going back. Quite the contrary, I take other wheelies to one of our favorite places to enjoy a great meal.
