So pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The food was amazing but the best part was our server Rhonda. She gave amazing suggestions and was a delight. We had the pimento cheese( I had never had before & never would have ordered without her suggestion. We had salads, fries and a bottle of bubbly!

Frog and the Hen has long been one of my go-to spots for a reliable and enjoyable lunch. I’ve come to expect great food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. Unfortunately, my visit today with my daughter fell far short of those expectations.
The experience started out promising with good service at first, but things quickly went downhill. Our server seemed to lose focus — at one point she even admitted to being distracted by gossiping with others at the hostess stand. While she explained the delay in our food was due to a large group, she wasn’t even serving that group, and oddly, a couple who came in after us got their food well before we did.
When I let her know we needed to wrap up and asked for to-go plates and the bill, I still had to walk up to the front to get the check myself. The staff's casual attitude — including openly chatting about non-work matters — left the impression that our time and experience weren’t being respected.
It was a frustrating visit and a real disappointment from a place I’ve enjoyed in the past. I’m not sure when I’ll be back for lunch again, which is a shame.

Thank you Maggie and Brooklyn at the front bakery area for being so sweet and helpful!!! Such a cute place and the food was fantastic. We had our whole family there who can be rambunctious but everyone was so sweet. I didn’t get our servers name but she was great food was quick and drinks were delish! Thanks a bunch

We so loved this place when it first opened however it is drastically declining. Still not a bad option but certainly not the quality that it has been. Don't order a salad, it was the saddest thing I've ever seen. Half the ingredients were left out with the exception of the tomatoes that I asked them to leave out since I'm allergic.

Visited today for a late brunch! Our server Pierre was amazing ! Very attentive and spaced our items out perfectly. The food was great, but the Mac and cheese was a little sweet.

Clean and organized. New and inciting interior. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious especially the fries with chicken gravy and cheese curds. Highly recommend!! We'll be back dining there soon!

My husband & I were recently treated to Brunch at Frog & Hen for our birthdays from our sons. The staff was so welcoming, friendly & provided us with excellent service. The atmosphere couldn't be more perfect & we made some great family memories there. Chef Jay & the rest of the staff provided us with delicious food. Everything was so good. Then our wonderful waitress surprised us with the most beautiful birthday dessert. She wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate on it & our sons sang to us. It was a perfect day I'll never forget. Thank you to all the staff at Frog & Hen for making our experience a wonderful one!

This place was actually 2nd on our list and they were DELICIOUS! It was also Masters Friday! We really wanted wings and honestly had we known we would’ve just ordered those and fries! They were sooo delicious. Perfectly fried and the ranch is fantastic.
The service was good. The server gave us some recommendations and was pretty attentive.
The southern fried chicken sandwich was soooo flavorful and juicy. There was so much I only ate half. Fries were nice and hot. Stopping by was honestly a win for us!
Would absolutely recommend going in for lunch!

Back again, and so happy to report no decline in service or quality. Sat near the back and was so impressed with BOH staff, their joy, efficiency and respect for each other was great to witness. The food was delicious. My companion got the Sweet and Spicy Chicken sandwich with fries. This is biggest sandwich Ive ever seen. She ate for 15 minutes and the remaining took up ¹/³ of the platter! I got the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast...wont order again until they stock cream cheese, but my goodness it was lovely...the salmon was so rich and smoky, without being salty. Loved it. We both got cocktails, which added to the vibe the staff were already presenting! I already look forward to returning again!

Visiting Augusta for a wedding and was looking for brunch the morning of. Found this spot online and it was a hit! Food was incredible — fries and gravy app is a MUST. Shrimp and grits were great, and the cheddar biscuits are fab. This is a must-go spot! Cherry on top — Pierre was the best server! Ask for him next time you go!
