Frog Hollow Tavern absolutely delivered. The halibut was perfectly cooked—flaky, flavorful, and hands-down one of the best I've had. The Old Fashioned was spot on too—well-balanced and smooth. Great atmosphere, great service. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Sampled a variety of small plates (roasted James River oysters, asparagus bisque and the mussels in curry sauce) and large plates (braised Berkshire pork shoulder, shrimp and grits and a scallops dinner special)...everything was exceptional! The service was top notch too. Our server Fritz, made a point of asking all our names, used them throughout the meal, and provided a level of service that was above and beyond what we expected. His recommendations were excellent and he and the other wait staff were attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

The smoked gouda Mac & cheese, pork chop, and Creme Brûlée were all fantastic! Collared greens were incredible too!!

A perfect experience from start to finish! Driftin was a phenomenal waiter. Knowledgeable, kind, great suggestions. He was on point the entire time! Our food was magnificent. It's been a while since I've been impressed in every way while dining out. I can't wait to return when I'm in town again.

Came into Augusta to sample restaurants for upcoming son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Frog Hollow Tavern didn't disappoint. Service was quick and attentive. Very pleased with the attention we received. Loved my Braised Pork Shoulder with the Feta Mac & Cheese. Very tasty and filling. My wife had the Swordfish that was on special. She found it a bit salty. Overall, very satisfied and still in consideration for the upcoming event.

Walked in, hostess asked how many and stared straight down and her tablet for 3 minutes without any indication of what was going on.
Asked for booth, there were open booths. She gets dissapointed and tells me unfortunately there’s no server assigned to those booths. Ok, so figure it out so I can pay for the food you’re selling and tip the waitress? Then, as I waited 10 minutes for her to somehow solve the problem of how I can sit at booth, I look over and realize the fixture next to the door at eye height is COVERED is layers of dust. Had never been cleaned. Generally unsanitary. Save yourself and skip it.

Great restaurant and overall experience. Went there for a birthday meal, ordered the steak and chicken entrees. Portion size was great relative to other 'high class' restaurants in the area. 9.0/10, it didn't have a special factor, but in a way, its brilliance in the basics make it stand out.

Parking: Tons of open spots even on a busy weekend.

The food here was absolutely amazing and service was fantastic. I saw all the amazing reviews for the macaroni so I ordered it but my god it was so rich it was like eating butter and I couldn't continue. However, they were extremely kind and offered me a dessert instead which was mouth-watering. Would definitely come here again

It town for a festival, made reservations several days in advance. Service and timing was great. Our server was Nichol. Food, drinks and presentations were amazing. Would highly recommend. Included pictures are of their Corn Bisque and Butcher (Hanger) Steak.

Always a lovely experience. Every accommodation is always made for me/my peoples. Make reservations. If you're solo, belly on up to the bar. Don't be afraid to ask folks to let you have the solo stool between groups. Great wine list. Impeccable, considerate service.
