Frog Hollow Tavern absolutely delivered. The halibut was perfectly cooked—flaky, flavorful, and hands-down one of the best I've had. The Old Fashioned was spot on too—well-balanced and smooth. Great atmosphere, great service. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
Sampled a variety of small plates (roasted James River oysters, asparagus bisque and the mussels in curry sauce) and large plates (braised Berkshire pork shoulder, shrimp and grits and a scallops dinner special)...everything was exceptional! A perfect experience from start to finish! Driftin was a phenomenal waiter. Knowledgeable, kind, great suggestions. He was on point the entire time! Our food was magnificent. It's been a while since I've been impressed in every way while dining out. I can't wait to return when I'm in town again.
