Very limited menu. If you want stir fry but don't want to wait at big table then the sit down menu copies that otherwise there are no Japanese items different, maybe some but it is limited to mostly appetizers.

Every time we come here we are so pleased. Knowing my husband is a vegan, they go above & beyond to please him. Even the owner brought a new roll they were trying for free to get my input, which made me feel special. I really enjoy the staff too, they make me feel like family. I don't see why somebody complained about toilet paper on the floor, it's always been spotless every time I've been there. I think people like to gripe about everything anymore. Ignore those & try it out for yourself. Freshest sushi in the whole city. Quality.

I tried something new tonight becuase I normally go to Miyakos and I’m so mad at myself! This food is gross, the rice is grainy and old tasting, they barely give you meat (I got steak and shrimp) and the yumyum sauce is spicy and watery ( taste like ranch)! the quality is horrible, for $26 this is not enough food! please don’t waste you money, go to miyakos!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!
We first arrived at 7, told we needed to wait 20 mins for a seat (which was totally acceptable). We waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes to have them start serving salad and soup. After 2 hours, the chef finally came out and cooked our meals. My chicken was undercooked and there was hair in the meal. After dinner, I immediately felt sick and ran to the bathroom. When I walked in, I found disgusting conditions.
Also side note, my friend ordered noodles with her meal and they gave it to her AFTER dinner was over and we were paying the check. It was so rude!!
Do not go here.

Oh, Fujiyama Sushi, how you have betrayed my trust and my taste buds. I ordered what I thought would be a delightful sushi experience, but instead, I was served a nightmare on a platter.
Let's start with the avocados. Ah, avocados, the green gold of the sushi world. Or so I thought. What I received was something out of a sci-fi horror movie: avocados with vascular leaching! Yes, you heard me right. These avocados looked like they had been possessed by some kind of alien fungus, with veins popping out like a bad case of food poisoning.
I half expected these avocados to start moving and crawl off my plate, but alas, they stayed put, just staring back at me with their leaky, vascular vengeance. I’m pretty sure I saw one of them wink at me. And not in a good way.
I tried to brave a bite, thinking maybe it was just a visual thing. Big mistake. Huge. The taste was like chewing on a rubber glove dipped in avocado-flavored ink. I spat it out so fast, it almost hit the poor cat on the head. My taste buds are still in therapy. The cat also was disappointed.
The rest of the sushi wasn't much better. The rice was dry, the fish was questionable, and I’m pretty sure the wasabi was just green Play-Doh. The highlight of my meal was the ginger, and that’s saying something.
So, if you're in the mood for an avocado horror show and a sushi experience that will haunt your dreams, Fujiyama Sushi is the place for you. As for me, I'll be seeking solace in a tub of guacamole, hoping to forget this traumatic dining experience.
Bon appétit... or not.
Wildly overpriced (I got a side of 4 shrimp for $13), service is awful, and food is mediocre, sushi (don’t even waste your time).

This is the first review of any restaurant I have ever visited. Due to work and a multitude of reasons it had been a while since visiting Fujiyama. They have since done some remodeling/seating etc. I reserved for a party of 14, 5:00 arrival. (All family). They seated us around the cooking area and when two chefs arrived, I realized our party was now split up. It did not feel like we were there as a group. Secondly, they asked if we wanted the early bird special and we agreed. They failed to ask or offer us the soup and salad as has always been in the past. When questioned about it, they said the soup and salad wasn’t included in the early bird special. However we did pay extra for it. The rice and the soup both had an “off” flavor, almost a hint of dish soap, in my opinion. They offered only the white sauce and when asked about the brown sauce, it tasted terrible and was not the same sauce we have always been served in the past. Our family has been to this restaurant many many times. The early bird special has always had the soup and salad included. Half of our group were kids. The chef had minimal interaction with the kids and seemed to rush thru cooking our food. Basically I feel this restaurant has lost its focus on customer service. I suspect maybe new management may have come into play and looking to maximize their bottom line. What a shame. However, all the employees were nice and polite and were tipped well. I do not hold them accountable. I feel like we got bait and switched. Did not enjoy the atmosphere quite quickly into the evening. We will not be returning anytime soon.
Kid-friendliness: Ok, but minimal interaction
