My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time we ordered fish , fries, and onion rings. The first pc of fish that I eat was good, but when I went to eat the second pc there was a long strain of hair fired into the fish. I called to let them know about it and the guy told me to put it in my freezer and bring it back on Monday. SMH I decided to try and make it back there the same. I got there right before closing and ask for a refund. Will not be going back!!!

I think Galle's have the freshest fish cooked to order in Augusta. The reason why they don't earn a 5 star is because of their call to order. It's a beast trying to call in an order on Friday, anytime after noon. Most times they're too busy to pickup and so I need to drive down to shop to place order and wait about an hour!
It would be nice if they offered an online ordering system where an order could be placed with an expected time for pickup. I think it would benefit Galles and their customers.

Looking for some fresh old time seafood than this is your place. The seafood here is always fresh. I started coming here as a child with my grandmother and I’m still coming and driving 15 minutes to get here. The seafood here is seasoned with that home cooked taste versus the drum seasoning from China like a lot of the fish markets around here. If you want a good fish sandwich or Fish dinner try Galle’s. You will not be disappointed.
