I have been into this location twice. When entering the building you’re greeted by the food on the right along with the staff that is going to be serving it. Both times that I have gone to this location. The staff has touched their face, touched their hair and rubbed in their ears with their gloves and then proceeded to touch the food. I have yet eaten here? The good smells amazing but hygiene is a problem.

They ALSO have a Military discount. It's been a year since I've posted a review about their discount. I had intended to say more. I will update my comment now. My wife and I usually go there after Church, but sometimes during the week as we are going today, Tue. I have two favorite main meats, the oooh soooo tender ribs, with the flavorful sauce and the lightly breaded pork chops, and my wife has two, the oooh soooo tender pork loin and the chicken drumsticks. They always ask you if you would like it on a plate or in a tray? Trust me on this tip. Get the tray. They give you sooo MUCH food on the plate, that you more than likely WILL ask for a tray! As for the sides, I like that their vegetables are cooked, done AND are tender! Now, the sweet stuff. Sweet potato Betty or some say shuffle'. Also, peach AND apple cobbler. The corn bread is cooked in the hoecake style! The sweet tea is NOT overly sweet! Those are OUR favorites, but they also have fish that they cook fresh. Kids size plates are also available! Give them a try, and your taste buds will make you go back! 😋

The food is excellent at both locations Evans and Wrightsboro Road. I would like to see Goolsby’s get larger drink cups for their beverages. The beverage cups are too small. Need 32oz cups, they are worth an extra price. Have a beverage with the meal but offer a large size cup for an extra price.

This is gotta be one of my favorite southern food joints since moving here. The food is really really amazing the fried pork chops or something. I definitely recommend the peach cobbler is also very delicious. The staff is really really friendly. The restaurant is really really clean inside and outside. I definitely recommend Goolsby’s for anyone coming in the area. Trust me, you will not regret it.
