Very disappointed this visit. Prices have gone way up and portions have gotten smaller. I had the baby shrimp and they weren't very good. Used to love going here, not so much now. Hushpuppies are still great!

I normally don’t get on and do any reviews for any business! But after today I will not be going back. I’m not from the Augusta area, I n normally the harbor inn I go to is normally better than this. Well, the owner cooking dirty food when I ask for her to clean my shrimp she said NO and she can substitute it for baby shrimp I told her NO, cause if I wanted it I would have order it. You can NOT feed customers dirty shrimp. After I was treated as if she don’t care about her customers I will NOT be back. I will definitely be getting DECH involved with this and report them to the news. But this business will no longer get my money nor my business! They don’t even need a one star ⭐️

This restaurant has really went down. Only 3 workers. Turned away customers as the size of the party was too large. SMH. One of our fish was raw and the lady with no name tag at the register tries to tell us its a different type of catfish. We never said anything about the flavor. We said it was raw. Told her to touch the inside. It was cold. Asked for more water. Her nails were so dirty. Oh my goodness. Pregnant waitress was fussing back and forth with the cashier. The shrimp was dry and overcooked. The other food was ok. Not worth the value. Will not be returning to this location ever.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! DO NOT BOOK RESERVATIONS HERE!!! The owners/managers don't care one iota about their customers. The dining hall was reserved for about 36-40 people. We had 2 waitstaff, both of which had less than 2 days training. From the beginning of service to the last of service, it was a disaster. Forgotten orders, orders taken 4-5 times and still no food. A few of us canceled our orders bc it was glaringly clear we weren't getting anything we ordered. Not one person in management/owners checked on our party and treated the organizer like she was a liar and thief. We were there a total of 3 1/2 hours for a birthday celebration. This is the kicker: most of the party were older people, so they didn't mind waiting, but waiting that long for fried fish?! Not to mention, each person spent around $20 or more per plate. Now let's talk about the customers with call in orders. They were talked to (by the white haired lady, the owner?) as if they were bothering her. One of the customers had been waiting for 1 1/2 hours for a call in order.Yall, avoid this place at all costs. They don't respect or care about their customers. The food is also mid. You can do better getting Captain D's (tastes better!!) or cooking at home.

Been eating here for years!! Food was not same quality and atmosphere was depressing. Maybe it all had to do with that there was only two other patrons. Probably want go back. Probably good for those who like their food all fried.

Never had a bad experience here haven’t been in years came today and I would never in my life come here again. I’m waiting on the police bc I don’t want my food and haven’t even ate it . Fish is rubbery and all the fried foods and packed with grease.

If you want artery clogging loads of oil then great place. Onion rings were grease rings. And who breads catfish? WHO DOES THAT??? Catfish is seasoned and fried with cornmeal. They originally gave some other kind of fish but a real catfish lover can tell the difference. They corrected the order and the waitress was nice. That is why I gave 2 stars (2 was a real struggle). Everything tastes frozen nothing fresh and loads of oil. I should have read other reviews before going but we wanted fish. Oh to be fair the jumbo shrimp was good. Seasoned good and not overly oily. It had an expected amount of oil for fried shrimp. Wish I could give a better review but a 2 was a hard earn.

It was quiet and a few people dining inside. The food was good, but could be better. The interior is nice though.

This was my first time here. We were camping at Winfield COE and wanted to eat some seafood. Not busy at all, good was great! Our only complaint would be the ketchup. It had a weird taste but it could have just been the brand they used.Kid-friendliness: Good kids meal. My daughter didn't like that her hamburger came on Texas toast instead of a bun. Parking: Good parking lot with plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking, wide aisles and tables to sit at.

Food absolutely scrumptious. Love the hush puppies. Our server, Georgina is absolutely sweet. Best peach tea I've ever had. Service excellent. Seafood platter is yummers. Will DEFINITELY come back to eat.

This was the nastiest food I’ve ever tried to eat. Wasted our money. I felt sorry for our server for having to listen to our complaints. She was really sweet, but it wasn’t her fault that the food was awful!!!! Beyond awful!!!! The only thing fried with cornmeal breading was the hush puppies. They were from a frozen bag, I’m guessing. The shrimp was NASTY! Breaded with only FLOUR. Overcooked! My husband’s flounder was extremely thin(hardly any meat) with FLOUR BREADING! We could not eat the stuff. I never write bad reviews, but I would not want anyone to waste their money on this restaurant. It use to be a pretty good place with the older owners(beforeCovid).

I am not one to complain but the seafood was not fresh. It tasted like it was from the freezer. The "grilled" steak was not grilled and had no flavor. It looked as though it is as baked. The server was nice and the murals on the walls are nice to look at. We had been here before but it has been years and we were satisfied then. Not very happy this time.

First we have been eating here for overR15 years.I understand prices have increased due the economy. With that being said:1. The quality of the food was poor to say the least.2. The quality or portions were reduced to about 1/4 of the previous plates.3.The price had increased almost 7.00 per serving since our previous visits.4.The tables were even sticky after we requested a second wash down.5. TO CHARGE FOR COLESLAW I THINK WAS THE LAST STRAW.6.. This is positively our last visit to HARBOR INN. WE WISH YOU WELL.The change of management or ownership will be the end of this establishment.

This used to be a really good place to eat under the original owner. Now the food is awful and the place is nasty. On the same level as eating take out at the local landfill.
