Delicious sandwiches! The fried bologna on pumpernickel is dynamite! Kinda slow service, but we weren't in a hurry so no big deal. Maybe order ahead if you're in a hurry or on your lunch break. I love to come here when I'm in town.

My go to when visiting Augusta. Hildebrandt's is outstanding. I can't even start to describe the experience. Sandwiches are hearty and delicious. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is indescribable. Just go there. You won't regret it. And make sure to get the German potato salad.

My first visit was at noon on Friday and my party had a extremely long wait for a couple cold sandwichs. They were great sandwiches but the 45 minute wait is kinda a deal breaker for most working folks on a tight lunch break.

Last time I was in Hildebrandt's it still had the grocery with the deli and food in the back. It was nice to see they updated as a deli only. I'm very happy to see the quality of food was still there.

Local spot since 1867?, or something like that...Rueben was very good. German potato salad is a must. I'd rate this a 4.5 if it was an option...but it's not so definitely a 5 instead of a 4....

Day 2 = visit 2 for this 53 year Augusta native who went for my first visit 10/12/23 ...I did in fact go to the back and meet the magnificent ladies of HildebrandtsWowEqually delicious was my second entree!!! The sweet heat Louis and my wife’s hot turkey were both amazing. I heeded the advice of a comment yesterday and tried the cucumber salad was excellent and Teresa was as mesmerized by the potato salad as I had been yesterday. I give this place 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Now I want to hear some of the tales of yesteryear this place has seen. It’s safe to say … we will be back!!
Very friendly place to eat. The food is great. If you're fortunate enough to be there when the train passes down the street, it makes for a good mealtime show.

Quaint place, and you must get there early as they sold out of food fast.

The wait time heart my soul. They are severely understaffed but by golly was that the best Reuben Sandwich I've ever had. The macaroni salad and sweet tea was also delicious.Update: Went here here again next day, and I must say it's not a once in a blue moon wait time. This time I was the first one in line to order when i walked in. There were only about 4 or 5 people in the restaurant and some were eating already. This was just after opening time...and I waited at the cash for TWENTY minutes being seen 4 times and not having my order taken that I just left. They are seriously understaffed. The worker here is literally the cashier, the waiter, the cleaner, the tea refiller, the kitchen helper, etc.The sandwich I had yesterday was amazing but unless you have an hour to kill waiting to get ordered and receive your food...going here is pointless. I really wanted to try another sandwich and go here everyday of my trip but really nobody has this time on their hands.
