This is the best coffee shop in town! Good coffee both hot and cold. They make a great coffee drink with their homemade ice cream called the Honey Comb. Always friendly staff. The atmosphere is quiet and calming.

This is a unique restaurant -- it's only open Monday-Friday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and it's run by the Whole Life Ministries. We went for lunch and it looked like many of the other patrons were regulars, mostly seniors. The menu varies from day to day and is available on their website. There are meat and vegetarian options. My daughter and I had the collard greens, sweet potato casserole, green beans, fried okra, mashed potatoes, and creamed corn, and it was all yummy. We finished the meal off with homemade peach ice cream!

Food gets a 4... desserts get a 5... this is one of my husband and I’s favorite place to meet for lunch when we want to sneak in a dessert!!! Food is good too. My only complaint is the price. It’s was around 35$ last time we ate there. Granted we do get desserts and my husband usually get tea. I guess I don’t mind as much because it is a ministry! Keep doing Gods work!

... and others today are raving about the Scones, etc. I wish I lives in Augusta, I'd make this my Cafe Head Quarters. I've had Cappuccinos in Venice, Italy and this Cafe produces just as good as any where in Italy! Try it, you'll like it.

We love eating at this quaint restaurant, the food is always fresh and home made or home baked. The atmosphere there gives you a peaceful serene feeling. I love reading all the Bible scripture verses on the wall and the staff and volunteers there are always so friendly. A place worth trying!

After hearing the commotion about this place I went to try it for myself with a group of friends... it puts you in mind of Morrison’s or Piccadilly’s... it’s a step up from S & S Cafeteria... not all the staff appeared to be friendly neither was the server very attentive. The food was edible yet you had to season it to your taste; however the chocolate cake was on point. Will definitely eat here again!
Food is amazing. I have tried the fried chicken, baked chicken, fried green tomatoes, creamed corn, tomato’s and okra on rice. Everything is so good. Friendly atmosphere.

We stopped in for lunch while traveling through Augusta and are so glad we found it. If I lived closer it would be a weekly spot. I had catfish, creamed corn, and collards while my husband had the pork chops, macaroni & cheese, and sweet potato casserole. Everything was well prepared and seasoned-- seriously the best corn I've had that wasn't my Nanny's. Wish we'd saved room for dessert, but we couldn't finish what was on our plates.If I'm ever in Augusta again I'll know where to go!

Delicious home cooked food. Cafeteria style dining we had the roast beef, squash, sweet potato casserole and fried pork chops, fried okra, corn and broccoli casserole which all were delicious. Carrot cake and chocolate cake for dessert and both were fantastic. Would definitely suggest this place to anyone traveling through that wants a good meal with friendly service!
